This is gone sound a bit poncy but there is a point to it. I have been with my wife for 11 years and married for 6. We are generally very close, spend lots of quality time together (and with the kids of course) and go out for meals and nights out all year. Why make a special effort when all the restaurants are serving a smaller menu that is more expensive. And here is the poncy bit - I love her 365 days a year and not just on a random day in the middle of feb......
I brought some flowers from Tesco, put on a disguise and delivered them to Mrs Fattmatt's work. She's going to think that I paid to get them delivered.
