What next for Leeds United - possible NFL takeover p18

Who would have guessed he would offer it to Hockaday after McDermott, nothing that guy does seems to make any sense, if it was not Leeds id feel sorry for them.paulie8290 said:
I think the question is, would Cellino offer it to Appleton,SheffieldRed said:
Don't think Appleton would be a bad appointment. Suspect Leeds want a coach rather than a traditional English manager. Appleton is well regarded as a coach, whilst his management career is unusual.
However, Appleton would be well advised not to accept the job if offered, as he probably needs to stay in a job for a reasonable amount of time and the Leeds owner does not appear to retain managers/ coaches that long. But can Appleton turn down a big club in the second tier of English football?
I doubt it

Appleton recently became Oxford's manager. They are bottom of League 2. Sounds just the man.0

Don't think he'd last as long as his dad did.................MeebaumAzanitch said:perhaps young Clough (a score to settle, maybe?

Lack of discipline has cost them/him.
Leeds were matching us last weekend until they lost a man and then totally lost the plot.

I know a scout who went to that game, pretty much what you say but he did say that Watford were sluggish for a good spell and Leeds didn't have a shot on target all game.Super_horns said:Lack of discipline has cost them/him.

Yes - that is right.
1st half was pretty even but we did score their goal for them.
Fernando Forestieri was the difference with 2 goals and winning the penalty (maybe not a surprise to some on here!)

Fucking hell. Looks like he spent every single second he was out of work at the gym. And every single penny of his last payout on the droidsNorfolk_Addick said:

Damn, this decision is two months too soon, wanted them to be cut adrift at the bottom and then sack Hockaday just before we played them on 4 November. :-(
@AddckUpNorth will be chuffed though when he gets back from Holland :-)
Haha @RedChaser you know me so well. I shouldn't really revel in another club's misfortune but I'm loving what's going on with L***s. Long may it continue (on a slippery slope to relegation hopefully).2 -
That is amazing. Must have been being paid bugger all.wwaddickson said:

Darko Milanic appointed. Apparently he was formerly head coach of Sturm Graz.
Erm... interesting. Hard to say how he might do.
