  • All over the place again this morning. Jokers.

Mines running fine. Well I say that i'my ten minster from Victoria and no problem so far!! ;)
  • All over the place again this morning. Jokers.

Because of a broken down train at Belvedere. The whole network paralysed. As you say: Jokers.
  • Bexleyheath line in meltdown. I'm on the 0822 from dartford. Been loads of cancellations one after the other on bexleyheath line. Approaching welling and the train is absolutely rammo. Impossible to cram anyone else in.

So a broken down train at Belvedere also seems to have fucked up the Sidcup line. Got as far in as Hither Green and are now rolling along at a snails pace up to every set of lights, where we then stop.

    And repeat.....
  • My Greenwich line train was diverted to Blackheath and London Bridge only. I'm happy!! I'm leaving work early to make sure I'm home in time for the football. 6 hours should give me enough time even with heavy reliance on south eastern

Least you managed to get on one. Didn't get on the Charing X train running 15 mins late as there was a delayed Cannon St behind advertised. Train goes, ask the platform bloke about the Cannon St and he told he the signs are wrong and it's cancelled. Asked why he didn't announce it when the other one was here and he said he couldn't as he was dealing with a ramp for the Charing X train.

So basically 40 mins standing on the platform. Signs still advertising the Cannon St though, and online
  • Tfl will most likely take over in 2018.

Got to Welling this morning to find every train on the board delayed or cancelled. Then an unannounced and unscheduled Cannon St train pulled in with about half a dozen people on it. Happy days!! Turns out it was supposed to go down the Woolwich line but got diverted. That's the sort of disruption I like!!

I have to take one of my kids to school everyday, so don't get a choice of an earlier train.

And as one of mine had us up from 5.10 this morning, 'getting up earlier' is a bit of raw nerve today !!

I feel your pain. If the police or government did to me what my kids do in terms of sleep deprivation they'd be charged under the Geneva Convention!

    Lol, sorry!
  • Well my tain home is cancelled because of a shortage of train staff! What the fuck sorry of bullshit excuse is that? What an absolute joke.

Two trains running the same route, half an hour apart are the only trains affected by this. It's an absolute joke. My only option is to get a slow train that stops at every possible stop between Victoria and the coast. Adding an hour and 15 to my journey. And even that is fucking delayed.

Had to work till 6 as half my team had passed off early and now I'm gonna miss the start of the footie because of the incompetence of these southeastern arseholes.

At least those staff who have made the shortage will be enjoying the game with a nice cold beer!

    Don't make it worse :'(

It's been like this for almost two weeks on Southern trains Canters. Absolute joke.
  • Haven't the union been telling Southern staff to keep calling in stick?

    Workers' Rights and all that...

No trains on Bexleyheath line till about 8:00 due to a fire trackside, useless pricks

  • Hour and a half to get to Cannon Street from Albany Park.

Wouldn't mind but it's not even the longest journey I've had from there.
  • Got to just outside Victoria to be told by the driver that half the platforms are flooded and so there is a queue of trains waiting to get a platform and we will be at least half an hour... been 25 mins already.... no sign of any movement.

Packed train, no seats so I'm standing, air con doing fuck all and the clever clogs who designed these trains thought it would be a great idea to not let the windows open. If this goes on much longer someone is gonna faint.

If you packed animals in like this in this temperature for 2 hours you'd have animal rights groups protesting left right and centre. But I have to play a fifth of my salary for this privilege.
  • Absolute murders, walked all the way to Barnehurst station...closed. Walked all the back down to Crayford....delays. All cos a bit of rain.
  • You'd have thought when they built these things they would have considered the possibility of a bit of rain.

We are in England you know...

Delay costing me money now.. starting to get beyond ridiculous...

It's alright though, because they'll reimburse you 20p for the inconvenience

Actually it will be Network rail (i.e. the government (i.e. us!)) reimbursing South Eastern because they are unable to run trains to the agreed schedule.

Crazy crazy system for building and operating railways!

As if. On a year long ticket you only get reimbursed of they miss their late targets for the whole rail network over the year. And that's easy to fix. They just cancel trains so they don't run late. Never get any money back.
  • I got a later train today as I went to vote. Only it turns out it's my normal train but running an hour late. So far it's taken 25 mins to get from New Eltham to Hither Green and the driver, bless him, keeps making announcements - only nobody can hear what he's saying as the speakers are too quiet!
  • Still on the 08:22 from Westcombe park to Cannon Street. Jesus
  • It's 9.44, I'm currently on the 8.09 from Sidcup which has made it in that time to 'near Lewisham'. Cannon St now closed so will be diverted to Charing X when we do eventually move and tube back from there. If I get in for 11 I'll be surprised
