You'd have thought when they built these things they would have considered the possibility of a bit of rain.
We are in England you know...
Delay costing me money now.. starting to get beyond ridiculous...
It's alright though, because they'll reimburse you 20p for the inconvenience
As if. On a year long ticket you only get reimbursed of they miss their late targets for the whole rail network over the year. And that's easy to fix. They just cancel trains so they don't run late. Never get any money back.
I don't think it works like that Canters. They can't dodge delay repay by cancelling the train. If, say, your advertised train was due to arrive at it's destination at 8.30, but the next available train actually got you there at 9.30, you claim an hour.
The delay repay is pretty shoddy mind, designed to put you off. Scanning your ticket in and enetering all the rest of your journey details to prove you're not a lying ba$tard like them and bingo, in about six weeks you'll get a voucher for about £2; which again you have to fill in your details on the back of it to get the money off of your next overpriced ticket. We should all do it though, as collectively it must add up to a few quid and if we don't they'll think we're not that fussed about it anyway.
For an annual season ticket outside of London to central London that's how I've been told it works..
So after leaving home this morning at 7:30 and not getting to work till 10:30 I decided to leave work early to make sure I get home. Things are still well and truly fucked. What a shambles..
I am gonna have to work from home all evening just to make up for the time spent sitting on a train all day...
What annoyed me most about this morning is there were no warnings. If they had told me at my station (or at any of the station between home and victoria) I could have turned round and gone home and worked from my bed. But nope. They didn't tell us until we were in a queue of 25 odd trains waiting for the 3 available platforms in this half of Victoria.
Absolute joke. And I know they knew it was bad, as I spoke to someone who gets the same train as me just an hour earlier and she had the same problem. All they had to do is pass the message on then they could cut down on the number of passed off people on their already too short and overcrowded trains.
Hahaha nearly a massive brawl at Waterloo East. Someone tried getting on and was stopping the train from moving so a couple of blokes kicked him off. Everyone cheered.
On a Bexleyheath train from Charing Cross, it's carnage. People almost coming to blows.
They must have 90% off their stock not operating and the one that is, they've only made it 6 carriages.
Complete pricks.
I'm on that sauna as well. The windows open the width of a knat's cock. Hot!
At least your windows open. I'm on one of those in between trains. Not the new ones where the air con actually works. But not the old ones where the windows open. So no windows and air con with the blowing power of a dead ant.
Nearing dartford and just I time for my walk home it's started pissing down. You got ta just laugh sometimes. Working from home tomorrow. Can't face this malarkey again.
I'm still fuming about this. I get the weather js beyond control but seriously they knew that all the major London stations were either closed or partially closed from about 5 this morning. Why didn't they tell us before we got on the train. Could have saved me about 4 hours of hassle today. Also less people squashed on these crowded (shortened) cattle trucks (trains) means less agro for them to deal with and less angry animals (passengers).
As it is I'm gonnaI'm gonna be working till ten to get my submission done. Bloody joke.

I may be misinformed.

Incompetence at its finest.
Not sure throwing beach balls at a train will do much. Might have to get inventive...
Lovely.
