Sorry. I dunno about London Bridge but Victoria and Waterloo are always rimmed to the brim at that time. London Bridge has had works on it recently so I imagine it will be even worse. Basically enjoy.
We joke about all this but it raises a serious point. Every day the system is at breaking point. Literally my train couldn't handle an extra 10 people on it. Without serious investment and improvement there will be a catastrophic collapse....
There may be, emphasis on may be, some respite in 2018. Thameslink have floated the idea of extending their service to Rainham via Greenwich. This was floated when Thameslink management met Stakeholders on at15th June.
It's brought about by track modifications in the Blackfriars area having a knock-on effect of reducing capacity at Canon Street. Southeastern is left with trains from the North Kent Line to the City which Cannon Street will be unable to handle, and the line through Blackfriars, City Thameslink and Farringdon is the only alternative.
As I say early days, and it won't happen before 2018 if at all.
Signalling problems at both Lewisham and Grove Park are causing delays of up to 20 minutes to journeys through Lewisham. This is expected to continue until 17:30.
6.23 sidcup line is only 6 coaches. On a day when they give out information regarding changes to services via London Bridge until 2018 which means we're all screwed for a long long time to come.
And still no word from Network Southeast when they will deploy 12 carriage trains.
The most annoying thing about that is that they could do it right now, even if there are platforms that aren't long enough, but they haven't bothered buying the software that would enable them to open and close the doors on individual carriages rather than 'all or nothing'. USE SOME OF THE FUCKING MONEY YOU EXTORT FROM US TO BUY THE SOFTWARE YOU ABSOLUTE ARSEHOLES!!
Southwest trains have air con - its bloody wonderful in this weather!
Whereas southeastern are just a con
Dont worry... The new High Speed trains have Air-Con, although thats only if your travelling to certain parts of Kent and if you wish to double the price of your Season Ticket for the pleasure of it
I never used to mind those announcements from the Drivers as you'd come into the terminating station, as on the rare occasion you'd get them, you'd be provided with an apology for the delay along with hoping that we'd have a good day.
On the Station though I'd be of the opinion: Great you can tell us not to play Pokemon but you cant tell us what happened to the 07:51!!

At 4.30 there is no one on the train, the later it gets the busier it is. 5-7 is busy time.

I just hope the punkah wallas haven't all been taken by the time my Sidcup line train arrives.
And turn the heating off and wire the windows open for the winter.
With those levels of customer service you have to wonder if Roland and KM have acquired a decent shareholding in the franchise.
"We all know you want to catch them all and be great trainers but please be careful on our platforms when looking for Pokemon"
Nearly made me want to jump in front of a train and leave the cruel world!
Cringe bags.
