  • London Bridge is looking fine..now I leave by the new exit in St.Thomas Street and work is almost opposite :)
  • Southeastern blatantly lied about the trains on their website.
There will be no Southeastern services at Cannon Street.
Instead trains will be diverted to Victoria, Blackfriars and New Cross.
Or just cancelled completely with no replacement at all! Departure board this morning was exactly the same as normal but with no Cannon St trains.

Chaos at London Bridge as no bugger knows where they're going. I'm absolutely dreading this evening!
  • London Bridge looks awesome - no idea where I was though, in terms of getting my bearings, but it is going to be great once finished. It did feel like a long walk to the underground though. Train was packed by Mottingham. This was the 6.44.
  • I had to laugh when I heard on the London news last night that the tracks will be outdated in 50 years so the next generation should prepare themselves for the sh*t we've been through.
  • They were only running about 4 trains and still managed to be 15-20mins late to London Bridge from Charlton.

London Bridge is shiny and nice though, so swings and roundabouts to mull over on my walk to Cannon Street.
  • So glad i booked time off to move house, lucky escape
  • Oh, I forgot, my train did have to go through lewisham (without stopping) as the tracks between Hither Green and St Johns were not working. that probably caused a bit of an issue for trains.

Will definitely change there in the mornings to get to edgware road, but not on the way home. think it'll be carnage.
  • Stuck on a train at Hither Green due to a points failure at Lee. Driver advised we could be here some time. I've said it before but they really are useless, incompetent c***s

  • Trains are running at Charing Cross but all delayed

Course they are! Cos that's the only fucking route I have to get home tonight as Cannon St is closed and London Bridge will have about 4,000,000 people attempting to get on to about 4 trains.

    Absolute arseholes!!!
  • On the first Bexleyheath line train for about an hour, platform 8/9 at LB are terrible designs, in proper rush hour they'll be stopping people going up onto them I reckon
  • I'm about to leave my office in Holborn bound for Charing Cross. Contemplating baling out for a pint and getting a later train.
  • Do it @Sillybilly .

I managed to leave well early (for me) today and so far I'm 15 minutes out of Charing Cross and still nowhere near London Bridge!
  • 25 mins from CX to LB and the platforms there are well busy already.

    Good luck folks!
  • Skipped out early too and train on time leaving Charing Cross (Sidcup line)........
  • Already stopped and front of train not even over the river! Back of train prob still in platform!
  • 15.56 to Sidcup bang on time. Just did not stop at any stations ran fast LB to Dartford ! No reason given. Was told you might like to go Dartford and come back ! An you c@nts might like to run a service or at least explain when you can't.
  • Stopped again. Still not at Waterloo. Been over taken by a Charlton train on the other platform though. Scandalous.

    Well, I did tell you!

I must be on the one in front. Currently stopped near St John's. Which is nice.

A colleague of mine mentioned this to me this morning. I told him it's not something he'll have to worry about, his answer and he was dead serious," it might be I hoping to be around for while yet."
    He's 73 this year.
  • Train absolutely rammed before leaving Sidcup this morning. The national rail app wouldn't work so couldn't see if there's a problem on another line meaning this one is so busy.

How long is cannon st shut for? I can't believe they are not throwing more trains into the mix somehow.
  • National rail app won't work for me either so just going to take pot luck at dartford. Took me two and a half hours to get from work in Holborn to home last night. First time home in the dark for a while!
  • Where were the promised extra services to replace the trains to Cannon Street? In an ethical world Southeastern would be handing back their franchise and their directors would be surrendering their bonuses.

It's just this week I think. Clearly a gamble on large numbers of commuters either being away for bank holiday week or working from home. Meanwhile in real life...
  • got the 6.03 from Welling and no seats left by Falconwood

Pissed off with it yesterday to the point where I've decided to drive for the rest of the week, will cost abit more in parking than travel but at least I've not got them arseholes southeastern to contend with
