You lot must be thick.
You read there are 2hrs delay, so leave work at 17:00 and just jump on the 15:23.0 -
If this trouble carries on I'm going to have a fine collection of Costa coffee gift cards courtesy of southeastern.
Every time there's a delay I seem to get lucky but it would be rude to refuse a freebie. Keep them coming SE.0 -
If you leave work early, go a different longer route home avoiding the trains, can you still claim delay repay? I'd have missed an appointment (again) if if have left work at 6 and got my normal train home? I left at 4.45 and went via Greenwich and still didn't get home till half 6. Surely they should compensate me?0

Left work, walked onto train running half hour late. Went pub for three hours. Walked onto train running 90 mins late. Furious0

Costs more than getting the delay repay rubbish, end up spending more in the pub. Tonight was the nadir.0

Am I right in saying that there are no direct trains from London Bridge to Charlton on Saturday?0
-
Correct. But if you can get yourself to Cannon Street there are about 4 an hour going down the Deptford line. Only 19mins to Charlton. Subject to the usual screw up of course.Bedsaddick said:Am I right in saying that there are no direct trains from London Bridge to Charlton on Saturday?

Wow. Glad I've finished commuting in preparation for going back to uni. Fuck that. Sounded like absolute carnage!0
-
Just call me a clairvoyant. 0800 dartford to Charing Cross delayed at London Bridge as a passenger has taken ill on the train. Guess what? It's rammo and the heating is on full blast. I hope someone actually sues the fuckers.0

It's the same service again in two weeks for the Rochdale game.Peter_G said:

Are trains running today from abbey wood to charlton?0
-
No, its a bus from Abbey Wood to Plumstead then a train.1
-
Currently no trains *at all* at Charlton. (departure board: http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/ldbboard/dep/CTN)0
-
I think that's due to an 'operational incident' at plumstead, they are supposed to be running again in a bit.0

Trains are now running but the one that would have gotten into Charlton station from London at 2.26 has been cancelled.0
-
Happy Monday Morning all! Already buggered.
