If this trouble carries on I'm going to have a fine collection of Costa coffee gift cards courtesy of southeastern. Every time there's a delay I seem to get lucky but it would be rude to refuse a freebie. Keep them coming SE.
If you leave work early, go a different longer route home avoiding the trains, can you still claim delay repay? I'd have missed an appointment (again) if if have left work at 6 and got my normal train home? I left at 4.45 and went via Greenwich and still didn't get home till half 6. Surely they should compensate me?
Am I right in saying that there are no direct trains from London Bridge to Charlton on Saturday?
Correct. But if you can get yourself to Cannon Street there are about 4 an hour going down the Deptford line. Only 19mins to Charlton. Subject to the usual screw up of course.
Just call me a clairvoyant. 0800 dartford to Charing Cross delayed at London Bridge as a passenger has taken ill on the train. Guess what? It's rammo and the heating is on full blast. I hope someone actually sues the fuckers.

It's the same service again in two weeks for the Rochdale game.
