By contrast, in the commercial environment it appears possible to keep things under wraps until its appropriate to make the information public. That's not because the information isn't of interest, it's because the immediate reaction of the many people involved isn't to think "I've got an interesting titbit, this will make somebody look bad or embarrass them, I'll, ring a friendly Journo". I guess it says something about the integrity of the people involved.
To me it does matter whether Duchatelet is furious of Peeters or Riga embarrassed for example, but then again I've never leaked information.
If RD is furious (and we don't know that he is or even cares) then it makes his failure to manage communications even more bizarre.

Whether this is true or not i don't know, but RD will have had his legal advisors check it , double check and quadruple check it.

RD got Riga in on short term deal to try and keep us up. Remember Riga has been sacked by RD before so I would say if Riga wanted the job which he did but did not get it something in the relationship was wrong. Hughsey asked him at Player of year awards if he wanted job permanent he said yes. Ps in Spain with poor internet bit like The Valley on match day.

Agree SHG had been thinking the same. He's also got his other football clubs and businesses to oversee (and was rumoured to be looking buying more clubs). I don't believe he wants to pick the team or micromanage the business. Seeing Thuram and Nego play couldn't have been more important to him than staying up.
