I did too, weirdly. There's usually more than one of us anywhere you go. Cardiacs are a sublime thing - they tend to inspire either astonishing, lifelong adoration or emetic, instant hatred. Their music is far too intense for anything else, really.
I notice that, for you, they were only beaten by one of only a very few other bands I'd say the same thing about.

There's not too many that come close to either Mr Smith in my opinion. Not a view that's shared by many all the same
