Nice to get a win. Shame the scummy north London pricks couldn't help us out.
Plenty of missed opportunities/thrown away games this year which let us down. I think back to the Kent game at the Oval when we were in control of the run chase and threw it away. And the Kent game when the rain stopped a certain win. Also the Glamorgan game when Dernbachs captaincy seriously let us down.
We didn't get selection right from the start and messed around not playing Jack's (one of our best limited overs bats - and not trusting him as second spinner) playing Borthwick at 8 or VDB and not bowling him.
Having said all that there were some brilliant games and performances this year. Finch was brilliant as you would expect. Top run scorer in the competition playing 5 less games than Bell in second place. Maddinson was a good find as second overseas player. Jacks broke through at the end of the tournament. Pope was brilliant. Foakes and Burns had their best year in the format. Clarke has been exceptional with bat and Ball.
When you factor in that all of Finch Roy Maddinson Morkel Tom Sam and Pope were missing for much of the tournament I don't think we performed that badly. Slightly dissapoining thaybour bowling which eas our strongest suit ober the last 4 or so years wasnt up tonscratch in a number of games.

2 sod off
3 would have been enough but for that no result at Canterbury.
