  • And 50 for Adams.

    166-2
  • Century for James Vince.

Should have been a run out a few minutes ago when both batsmen ended up at the same end, but the throw was wayward...

McKerr has also taken a bit of a battering - he's gone for 60 off his 11 overs so far.

    230-2
  • As I type that...

    Vince c Foakes b T Curran 104

    232-3
  • This is shit. Even with that wicket... we need a couple of wins to see us safe this year...
  • Tea - 243-3
  • 100 for Adams.

    275-3

    Surely said in jest ?

    Somerset and Warks look woeful.
Fully expect your mob to win more than they don't from here on in.

We haven't won since the first game of the season. Okay the weather stopped us a couple of times when we were in good positions, buy some games we have been woeful. Can't see where we are going to take 10 wickets let alone 20. Batty seems to have lost it in the longer format, Ansari retiring was a real blow, Sam and Tom are still learning but aren't yet blowing teams away Meaker has been underperforming Dunn hasn't played and this is Mckerr's first game. So we are relying on Footit to blow them away which simply isn't happening every game.

Similarly with the batting we rely on Sanga and Rocky to get runs. If they don't we're in big trouble.
  • Adams b Virdi 144

361-4, and that's close of play.
  • Hard going today need early wickets tomorrow.
    Thanks for the updates Epsom

  • I faced Amar Virdi in a net session last winter. Didn't think he was up to much....and then I managed to play on to him two balls running! It reminded me not to try to take liberties!
  • Don't say I never do anything for you

  • Bailey has made his century, and Ervine has reached 50.

  • Sometimes I feel the oval wicket would be better suited to an 8 day match.
Absolutely nothing in it for the bowlers at times.
Makes for great one day matches but does us no favours in the country championship.
  • Stoneman c Rossouw b Ervine 57

    105-1
  • 113-1 at the close.
