    A very good question.

    Where is Scarfy?

  • I heard he stormed out of training after he heard we were bringing in a rosette for a try out
  • Feedback from Cov mate who works with Paulie:

He's alright, typical flair player in that he scores some great goals, but goes missing a lot in games.

To be honest, a bit of flair was conspicuous in it's absence in last season's team for long periods. The likes of Cousins, Wilson, Solly, probably Buyens etc will give plenty of graft, I think there are times when you will have to tolerate periods of ineffectiveness for moments of glory with your more 'spectacular' players.
  • Looks like an exciting signing. Some of the goals he scored for Coventry were real quality. He looks more like a forward than a midfielder on the you tube compilation - would have loved to see clips of him actually creating chances for others, and to see some assist stats. Welcome Franckie boy.
  • Liking this one. Welcome Frankie boy
  • Positive signing. Happy days.

    Where is Scarfy?

After a savage attack by moths, scarfy has been forced to retire, a tragic loss

Being the anorak that I am, I took a look at some Coventry discussion boards to get their take on him:

    - Flair, sometimes showboats a bit too much
    - Makes a great "highlights package, but can go missing in games often.
    - Was "injured" towards the end of last season, but many got the impression that the club was in such a state that he didn't want to turn up and play anymore.

Then again, I always take the negative aspects with a pinch of salt when fans talk about a player leaving their club. As you could see on here last week, a lot of people were all of a sudden describing Poyet as a player who could only pass backwards and is overrated.
  • Feedback from stuff I've just made up:

He's alright, typical flair player in that he scores some great goals, but goes missing a lot in games.

  • Unfortunately I think this might also mean that we are unlikely to see Ajdarevic back this Summer. Sound like very similar players.
  • He Moussa be good.... only 5 foot 8 though according to our friends at Wikipedia.

  • The proof will be in the pudding and won't condemn 'til I see him. Equally, I'm not going to celebrate a player who has yet to prove that he can consistently play at this level.

I don't think we were ever going to see him back, that ship sailed long ago.
  • According to Wikipedia... anyone want to own up...?

Moussa signed for Charlton Athletic F.C on 2nd July 2014 on a two-year deal on a free transfer. Their fans have already nicknamed him "Mousstard" because of his fondness for rhubarb
  • Fran ckly he looks a bit tasty, I am really starting to look forward to Welling.

Not sure I would call them similar. Hopefully Moussa can make it from the changing room to the pitch before he is blowing out his arse.
Shame, as I would have been interested to see how fat AA gets over the summer break.

    One for the youngsters....cracking chorus.

  • Surely we'd call him Mousstard for his footballing ability?
  • On reflection it looks like having some link to Belgium is going to help us to recruit players from over there. Maybe the two we've signed will be underwhelming, but for now it looks very promising.

    Runs like Bradley Pritchard.

    Technique like Dale Stephens.

    Scores like Johnnie Jackson.

AND he's Belgian. It's win win win win, all round!"
  • I had pancakes for breakfast, and waffles for lunch , its a sign i tell ya , a sign.
  • The Coventry City fan that I know is gutted to have lost him and can't believe that he didn't go to a Prem side.
  • Excellent signing. Very happy with that. Suddenly we're looking pretty strong in midfield with Buyens, Cousisn, Jackson and Moussa. Who needs Poyet?
