Of course we want attacking players...but the championship has moved wth the times...we should build a big counter attacking emphasis otherwise we will continue to just get done at home.
A midfielder! Who runs! And scores! I'm really excited about this. Bit concerned that it's only a 2 year deal as if he performs as well as I think he might he'll be off, but I'm really happy with this. Typical of us though, even the players we pick up off other English teams are Belgian!
Some genuinely exciting goals on that compilation, and perhaps more importantly, some more predatory ones too. We certainly seem to be addressing the attacking deficiencies.

Looking forward to a string of results like this: 5-4, 7-6, 6-5, and so on cos we'd be playing a formation of 3-4-3 as we've not replaced Dervite?! ;-)
Looks a bit Racon-ish to me, albeit one who has obviously managed to 'do-it' a lot more consistently at League 1 level.
He looks quite exciting, we've been crying out for a midfielder who can carry the ball forwards with a bit of pace, and the boy can obviously shoot. Hopefully he can also spot a forward's run early and deliver accurate, penetrative passes into the forward's path because, imho, we need a midfielder who can do that more than we need one who can smash the odd worldy in from 30 yards, as welcome as the odd worldy on the highlights reel would be.
Reckon this could work a treat as terrace song, but then my song suggestions usually go down like a lead balloon on here!
Welcome Franck. What a refreshing change to actually be able to bring in our transfer targets rather than the leftovers just before the start of the season. A lot of change taking place over the summer but needed after two years of the squad going backwards.... starting to get excited

I think the consensus from Coventry is that he is a loss for them but he had bad games and excellent games. Hopefully in a better side at a higher level he will be consistent. Certainly some of the goals he has scored are above the ability range of a lot of players which is a positive.
