I watched CFR Cluj 1907 play in the Europa League a few years back, and they have won the title in Romania a few times. They were truly awful. can't say I am too excited if most of goals have come from the third division, but then again Rickie Lambert was playing for Bristol Rovers 5 years ago, so you never know...0

Big chap who seems to have played most of his career as second/support striker, 1 in 3 goals record is not bad at all - I know a lot of those came in (probably) poorer leagues but it does prove he knows where the goal is - Big Bobby P clearly reckons he can get the best out of him and even if he isn't a goal machine himself then at last we have a bit of muscle up front to give the likes of Vetokele and Reza a bit more room to play in.
I am not ignorant of the arguments favouring English-based players but I won't rule out any player simply on the basis they've not played on these shores before. Welcome aboard George, now we just need to know how to pronounce that surname...
(Is anyone else dreading the chants we're going to end up with next season? Tucudean doesn't really roll off the tongue...)3 -

I hear this. Of all the summer signings this one (along with Piotr moving) smacks of network musical chairs! As long as Peeters is supported with more signings when the loan window opens and plays the best front six to get results then I'm good. Leaving aside injuries I think we can cope if this signing is a miss and not a hit!
Then again the Championship is different to Jupiler league - let's wait and see.1 -
