Watched some of the swimming last night and was delighted to see the English do so well, with the 4x100m mens relay even beating a much fancied Australian team to the gold. Granted the Aussies still picked up more than double the number of medals than we did in the pool but still a pretty good achievement.
I also watched some of the disabled swimming and thought the category that some of the swimmers were placed in was a little unfair. How on earth does a woman with virtually no arms get classified as a 9 (barely disabled) for the frakkin' breaststroke? Racing against some of the other people with no visible disability. She came last by the way.

Seems we could win it according to the Aussies.
Jenneke won the pre-race warmup.
SA went 2-1 behind so got 2.8 on them latter.
Lovely Jubbly.
Equally so pleased for Jo Pavey. Been a proper journeyman runner all her career, brilliant for her
Every time I see the replay I think the Bahamian has got it then our bloke just kicks again as he hits the line!
Hope that Welsh pole vaulter, Sally Peake keeps going.
