  • Positive start from Ali & Bell.. if they can get us upto the ton mark we're in with a sneaky chance, but don't think we've got anywhere near the strength in depth
  • `...and that lasted long

FFS Ali. Starc just too quick and the attempted pull loops straight into the hands of mid on. Gone for 10.
    25-1, 4.4 overs.

    29-1, 5 overs.

    Bell 12 (15)
    Ballance 4 (2)
  • If the Aussie commentators were any further up Johnson's arse they'd have brown stuff on their noses.

    38-1, 6 overs.

    On comes Johnson.
  • 43-1, 8 overs.

    Ballance 10 (10)
    Bell 18 (25)

    Stupid batting. 49-2, 9.4 overs.

Ballance [10(13)] chips the slower bowler Marsh straight at silly mid on / short mid wicket.

    50-2, 10 overs.
  • Two cheap wickets. Same old story.
  • Bell slogs the medium pacer into the deep and gets caught by the sweeper for 36 (45).

    66-3, 13.4 overs.
  • at least we've all got charlton to look forward to
  • WTF Root [5(12)] skies him up in the air and Haddin catches it.

    66-4, 13.5 overs.

    Marsh 2.5-0-9-3
    ???

  • Trouble is .. we have NO-ONE called Mitchell .. not sure whether to put ((:>) or ((:<) .. another shagging for England
  • We need to get to 200 by the 35th over (without losing more wickets) and take the powerplay, get some momentum and hope to score 143 off the final 15 overs... lol
  • It's best to just write this game off and for Morgan, Taylor, Buttler and the rest to get some batting practice rather than try to chase a pretty impossible target .. sad as I am to type this

More WTF cricket. Morgan attempts to pull Marsh, hits the toe end and Haddin takes a catch behind the stumps?

He's out for 0 anyway. And the medium pacer has 4-13. Did we miss a trick with Bopara?

    73-5, 18 overs.
  • Morgan .. the new Cook .. ouch !!!!!!!!!
  • You couldn't write that. Morgan trying to pull, gets a toe end and Haddin takes it diving to his left.

That's four ducks and the grand total of two runs in the last five innings.

Nobody will want the poisoned chalice of the England captaincy.
  • Boycott talking a lot of sense, as usual. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/31447147

Give it to a bowler who doesn't usually bat anyway (Broad).
  • 79-5, 19 overs.

I think we will be bowled out for under two hundred, Johnson with a five for and Starc with three wickets.

Can i revise that to under 120.

  • Jos Buttler 200 not out. I can feel it.
  • To be fair why should the batsmen bother when the bowlers are incapable of landing the ball within six feet of the target area.

And that's the most ridiculous catch in front of square I think I've ever seen, Buttler couldn't have hit that any harder. Obviously not meant to be today lol

    92-6, 21.2 overs

Nothing to do with the captaincy, both Cook and Morgan are simply not good enough for top class ODI cricket.

I now understand how you got to do it so much.
  • Get in there James Taylor.
  • 184-6, 35 overs

    Taylor 66 (69)
    Woakes 37 (40)

England need 159 from 90... lol
  • Make that 184-7, 35.2 overs. Woakes skies a Johnson slower ball.
