Hey @Rossman92 I wasn't really having a go at you or other CAFC supporters...I'm just frustrated that yet again we were fed bullshit and I for one believed we would sign 2 players today.. a striker who can hold the ball up and a decent attacking midfield player...instead RD spends his time appointing Riga as SL boss, when he (Riga) could have been here and he (RD) had no intention of signing anyone for us...I really fear for the future and after 55 years I've nearly had it with this bunch of jokers....the bloke is an out and out liar...and whatever you think of people, including me...I do not and will not accept liars....i would rather he 'manned' up and spoke truthfully....but he is a twat and I wish i could meet him before my heart gives out...because tonight he has broken it even more...#sosadandannoyed

I remember standing at the Valley in the 1970's on one bitterly cold Tuesday night when Halifax were the visitors for a game played in front of less than 4,000. I thought those days were long gone. Just shows how naive you can be, even when you are in your 62nd year.

Can't say I was even around to see the years from 85-92, can't imagine it was much fun to be a Charlton supporter, I know very well it can get much worse. Sure there's the possibility of relegation but it's nothing we can't overcome. Surely there's administration and dissolving all together, but None of us surely can see either of those happening. Therefore yes I know it can get worse but there's no reason that I can't be optimistic

Anyone really surprised by the outcome of today? Sure we'll here the same story of tried to bring in Messi but just couldn't get the deal over the line, and some will blindly fall for it. Glad I spent the evening in a very nice bar with a friend (fellow Charlton fan) but not bothering to look at what was (not) happening. Common sense and experience I s'pose. Roll on the rest of the season whatever that brings (not a lot expected).
