    For three options I struggled to pick a winner - Don't really know too many post WW2 films, never really interested in the modern ones (Although some mentions on here may remind me of some)

    2. Battle of Britain / Battle of the Bulge / Great Escape
    3. Downfall / Enemy at the Gates
    4. Zulu / Waterloo
    5. All Quiet on the Western Front / Gallipoli / The Light Horsemen

    Think I'm losing the point of this thread, each time someone names a film it has to be added to the list cos I love them all

    There was one called "Tumbledown" based on the Falklands but i think it was a "tv" film

    There was a film/Play on BBC called Tumbledown starring Colin Firth . Not sure it would count though.
