  • That last post of mine certainly did the trick (again I might add) with Surrey 292 all out.
  • Not for the first time this season Coles and Stevens being the main wicket takers with 4-81 and 4-48 respectively.
  • D B-D gone.

    20-1 and a lead of 10
  • 35-1 for a lead of 25
  • 60-2 Key out for 26
  • Same old story 115-5
  • 116-6 Billings 0
  • Hmmmmm, normal service resumed!

They need to find a new name for the 'Crystal Palace End' too!!
  • I went yesterday and when Surrey were 53-4 they should have had them out for under 150. Surrey were not impressive at all. I think the 100 run lead they should have got will come back to bite them.
  • Tea 146-6 Denly 59 no Haggett 8 no

  • 160-7 so a lead of 150

    Denly gone for 66
  • Looking at the scorecard, the spinners have done the damage, Ansari getting 4 and Batty 2. Over to you Adam...
  • All out 204 194 in front
  • 44-1 at close. Need 151 to win
  • Hello Kent fans!! Not counting my chickens But surely a Surrey win is looking likely barring a miracle!!
  • Surrey 75 for 4.
  • Little wobble here
  • Just the usual give a little hope from Kent here.

Surrey will knock this off easily.

    Unfortunately, this.

Still got Roy, Wilson and Batty all to come.
  • 108 for 5.

The miracle has well and truly started.
  • If Jesus had done this sort of miracle, the Bible would have been a short book, and probably not made a second edition.
  • As I posted on the England thread, Davies is in the form of his life (scores of 200*, 21, 81, 6, 115*, 58, 53, 44 and 45 in all comps this season) and can see him taking them through to the finish.

Jason Roy, at the other end, is 20 off just 23 and they still have Wilson to come.
  • On the subject of Roy, I wonder what he thinks of having to bat at 7 in both innings (I appreciate Dunn came in as night watchman) - and whether that is helping his development.

Lawrie Wilson? Surely we didn't agree that he could play against Kent under his loan terms? Blimey its hard enough to take the last three wickets for under 100 at the best of times!
  • Wilson gone. 18 needed, 3 wickets left. Come on Kent!

    Roy going well though...
  • Batty, Curran and Fletcher (Slurry's last three) scored 86 between them in the first innings, so doubt we will win this one sadly...
  • Lost by 3 wickets :-(
  • Not here to gloat! Just to say it was a good close game of cricket with good play from both sides... Jolly good cricket all round!
