Just read about the latest accusation from the woman who ghost wrote his book. How did he think he could get away from it? Is it possible he may be charged with anything?
Saw her being interviewed this morning, she mentioned that her brother had witnessed it one occasion. Can’t believe he didn’t take Wallace to task about it.
I'm sure the usual suspects will be along shortly to defend his behavior. All good fun and what happens at work stays at work etc, etc.
She was so devastated she kept going back. Usual gullible suspects believe anything the BBC says.
I know if his behaviour was so bad I wouldn't have had anything more to do with him. . She said she turned up at his door and all he had on was a towel round his waist..... But still went in... Not a good look when your trying to make a complaint about him.
Bit like me blaming a pub for selling me beer to get drunk.

I'm so sorry to see this kind of delusional nonsense.

The female journalist ghost writing his autobiography was in an awkward situation. He would have known it was her livelihood and thought he could exploit it. She had to manage the situation, which she did but is this right? In what world can this be right? What if she walked away, it could have had a detrimental effect on her career. She had no reason to come out with what happened other than to show him for what he is.
James Martin is the bookies' 5/2 favourite to replace Wallace. Lisa Faulkner 3/1 Nigella Lawson at 4/1 Gino D'Acampo at 5/1
I’d go for Si King.
I like Si but I can't see his persona would work when critiquing others cooking abilities. He seems too warm-hearted to have a go at someone who made an error with how they cooked their aubergines for example.

I've not read her full story but was she already uncomfortable with him at this point? If so why could she not have said I'll come back in twenty minutes when you have got dressed? If he'd already been behaving badly did she not think that maybe his behavior could escalate and worse could happen? Or was her career more important to her than her own safety?
I'm not in @cafcchippys camp at all but surely some of her decisions are questionable?
For clarity, I think his behavior has been deplorable and well done to those who have called him out over it.

Apologies, I can’t get a link to work. Worth a view.

Yeah but it was her job and her livelihood on the line, she probably knew that there were possible consequences but walking away would ALSO have consequences... which is exactly what Wallace was counting on.
That's the entire point, she made a decision that she absolutely knew could turn out badly but felt pressurised to make anyway. That's EXACTLY THE POINT. That's why it's a bad thing.

Think she said that she was waiting in the lounge etc for him to go and get dressed which is a pretty reasonable thing to do, and that's when apparently he came back in and dropped the towel.

As I said I hadn't/haven't read the full story and was going on the comment here hence my caveat at the beginning.

She was basically working for him though, as he was paying her to write his book so if she'd walked away the assumption is that she wouldn't have got paid. I'm sure she also said in her interview that she had turned down other work to write his book, so she was clearly in a position where it was tough to just walk away from her income.

Yeah I read it that way mate, just thought I'd clarify.
See Ksy Burley made sexual innuendo comments about Greg Wallace sexual prowess...... Cue the outrage.... Not. Rule and opinion for one and a rule for the other.
Another thing that has bothered me about all this is the use of term 'misogyny' especially by the media. What he has done is sexism and inappropriate behaviour towards women.

I think she was wrong to say that. Tbh since it now appears the allegations against him are more of a predatory nature I think the time for joking has passed.
Did anyone actually watch the Professional episode last night. There was a huge innuendo between Monica and Gaston (who is gay) regarding plugging potatoes. Himself and I looked at each other & both said……..thank feck Gregggggggg wasn’t there! Tbh, half the episode was on location and GW wasn’t actually there. It is soooooooooooo much better without him!

I mean that does sound pretty misogynistic doesn't it?
