Sorry @T.C.E what is it you actually do?

Are you someone who trains other people's dogs with behavioral issues or do you help those with a fear of dogs?

A bit of everything @ForeverAddickted we run obedience classes (sit, stay etc) Agility classes, individual issues, (Fear aggression etc) towards dogs or people. If people have a fear of dogs we have Bailey (he's not a synophobia trained dog) but he's a solid dog and will ignore panic or fear shown by synophobic people, our natural instinct when fearful is to run. A dogs natural instinct when something runs, is to chase it (prey drive) if we stand still a dog will get bored, lift your hands above your head and theres a likelyhood a dog will jump up. The young lady in the picture was scared of other dogs, so we brought Bailey into the paddock and had him doing some agility and she started to get comfortable with him and 20 minutes later we had this gorgeous photo. :)
*edited to add*, this only started due to the currant ownership. So well done to the regime something positive has finally come from your presence.
  • just a quick question @T.C.E last year we took a dog off a relative that couldn't look after it anymore jack russel chiuaha cross 6 years old, has only ever been walked on a lead, would you think he could ever be trained to be let off the lead as would be nice to let him have a run around when out walking.
  • Thought we either needed a couple of new rads or a power flush of the system. British Gas just came do the annual service and it turned out to be a couple of dodgy control valves stuck shut. Took him 5 minutes to sort.

Think I'll spend some of the money I'd mentally put to one side to pay for it on a brass before my missus gets home.

they tried telling my aunt she needed powerflush and new radiators, i took a pair of plier unjammed the valves and was all sorted british gas its pot luck as some of there engineers are fooking awful

No problem, but don't just let it off and expect it to come back. Any new owner that comes to me, gets the same bet. My hourly rate against a free lesson to get their dogs recall, while we are talking I fuss their dog and drip feed it a treat or two, most owners turn up for training with no treats, let alone go for a walk with any. Why would your dog come back when your calling all the bastards under sun. Scream like a girl (sorry ladies) wave your arms about like a lunatic and I guarantee it will come back. Even it looks at you like WTF............. ;)

You could probably fit 3 or 4 in if she's due home by 4pm.

  • watching claude from arsenal fan tv the day after they slip to a unexpected draw/defeat
  • Beverley Knights voice. Just got back from seeing The Bodyguard, didn't think it was gonna be a bit of me but hearing her sing is worth the money alone.

Have wanted to go here for years... things like that have interested me since I was a small boy (Loved Airfix models etc.)

My Dads really into Engineering and we used to go to the Model Engineering Exhibition at Brighton (ModelWorld) every year, loved looking at the train sets that people had created and is something I'd love to create if ever I had the room.

Was sad to hear that the Exhibition at Brighton had ended the other year because of funding / attendance issues
  • We travelled 6 hours from Pforzheim up to Hamburg just to go there. Needless to say the missus was really keen to see it too, luckily... Hamburg looks a great city anyway, we will be back.
  • Harvesting your own firewood from your plot. 2 square metre in the basement from today and another 2 to get in over the weekend. Sitting here in me undercrackers, sweating me cods off as I type
