How Carlsberg have been allowed to get away with describing their offering as 'probably the best lager in the world' for the last 41 years without anyone batting an eyelid. The 'beer' simply branded as Carlsberg isn't even the best lager made by the Carlsberg Group; in fact it isn't even their second best.
Is there something about the word 'probably' that allows you to follow it up with a complete and utter lie and be immune to any legal recourse. There are many great lagers out there if you look for them, but you'll never find them on the crappy illuminated taps of your nearest pubco boozer and you'll never find them in the massed banks of discounted cans at your local walmart relative. Just how have they gotten away with this scam?
