Buttler is increasingly pi55ing me off with the way he gets out. walks when the umpire gives him not out at Lords, then doesnt review when 1) he was the last batsman and 2) was missing wicket - and now playing an absolutely ludicrous shot. It just shows a sign of having zero mental strength.
Cook's rabble of workshy p!sstakers should be rounded up and made to stand outside the exits at close of play today and personally refund the fans while inviting everyone to boot them squarely in the balls for their blatant surrender. Investigation should immediately begin into betting patterns on the margin and rapidity of Australia's victory. At least massive corruption could explain the last 2 days.
England's batting today has been absolutely terrible. At least four maybe five have got themselves out. Lyth is not good enough, Butler has had an atrocious run.

I know i keep on about it, but its not just the fact that Buttler keeps getting out - but its the way he keeps getting out- its almost as if he doesnt want to be out there.
Is Tavere still alive? We need him to coach the English batsmen to properly value their wickets. I'm sure the crowds could live with England accumulating a run an over if it cut out these collapses.
I spent twenty odd years wishing the England cricket team could emulate their convict counterparts batting displays. But this isn't the 80s and 90s, so don't copy the current nohopers.
Say what you like about Geoffrey Boycott he could protect a wicket and whilst his style of play wouldn't have lender itself to how we have tried to play this series he understands the importance of knowing where your stumps are and knowing when to be sensible
Like most people I can't stand Geoff boycott, but he's almost always right. It's an irritating balance of me agreeing with almost everything he says and wanting to throttle him.
If he talks about the corridor of uncertainty or stick of rhubarb and his mum again, i swear i am going to stick that rhubarb right down his arrogant yorkie throat.

Apart from the odd "That's not for me to say, that's for the coaches/the selectors" etc when he doesn't have an answer, I agree completely.
Reminds me of a coach back when I did archery. Knew every single thing about the sport, no question, about as expert as its possible to be. But a steaming cock of a human being. Total arrogant jerk. Wife beating c*** I'd rather not know.
The balls that Cook and Bell got would have got anyone out - but the shots played by Lyth,Bairstow,Stokes and Buttler were abysmal . In my view, Bairstow and Lyth dont have 'it' - Bairstow is one of the worst players i have seen of the bouncer at Test level- (and you can imagine the type of stuff that Steyn,Morkel and Philander are going to give him this winter!), and i am also starting to have serious doubts over whether Buttler has the mental toughness to play in the Test team - think it may well be time, as AA says, to give Billings an extended run, now that the Ozzies are out of the way for a couple of years.

That was a dreadful shot.

Roles have been reversed. Oz dug in & we didn't.

On the positive side, I was thinking of buying chappers spare tickets for today
