I watched all of his involvements and he played well. Several crosses to claim which he did, a handful of decent saves which he did well.
The camera angle of the first goal wasn't helpful so I can't tell if it took a deflection but the second goal was a very very good free kick. Looked to me he set the wall up correctly and he covered the other side but the free kick was just too good.
All in all a great start for him and I'm pleased. I really like the cut of his jib
Another match for Ashley today - Lost 1-0 @ Dundee United, although have a feeling it could have been more had it not been for him, especially when you look at the Player marks (from fans) on the BBC website.
Stating the obvious, at some time this season or at the end of it, we will be offering Ashley a contract or we won't be. If we do, I guess other clubs will be interested as well;especially over the border?

His Contract doesnt expire until 2023 at the earliest

Questions will be asked of goalkeeper Ash Maynard-Brewer being beaten at his near post
That wouldn't be the last time Maynward-Brewer looked suspect.
That looked to have given County a lifeline, but calamitous play between Jack Baldwin and Maynard-Brewer allowed Tanser to sneak in and re-establish St Mirren's two-goal cushion with a poked finish.
Says it all that he still got the third best rating on the BBC website for them.

Hope AMB brought his winter clothes, it’s going to get very chilly all the way up there very soon!

Ashley ranked fourth in the entire game at the moment

Seems to have an issue with his near post as let one in recently that way

Another defeat today with him in goal again - Lost 3-2 at home to Livingston leaving them 4-pts adrift.

Big result for them as a win for the home side would have left Ross County rather adrift at the bottom.
Regan Charles-Cook got two goals and Ashley made a decent save from Charlie Adam when it was 0-0
Looked a bit iffy with his catching late on from a corner, dropped a rather simple cross
Dundee also had Leigh Griffiths in their team tonight.
