Needed a defender pretty desperately. Hopefully this will be a good signing. I wonder how much he cost?.....oh, they don't mention it! Also, is there a relevance to the number 7 written in tally marks?

Pretty clearly says seventh signing of the season...
This will surely be the tallest CAFC squad I've ever known?.....looking forward to seeing how we are going to play, but we definitely will be able to 'mix-it' should we need to and set pieces both ends of the pitch will be interesting. Just a pity about Bulot moving on, I think he would have done well in this new squad. Still would like to get Henry from Wolves if possible. Welcome Naby
Great summer in terms of incomings from the club. If we can wrap up Henry then I think we've def got a chance of holding our own this season. It would be ridiculous for me to comment on whether or not the squad is capable of a promotion push not having seen any of the new influx, but I'm quietly confident we might surprise a few people.
Luzon will have had the whole summer to work and mould the team he wants. He seems like an assured, confident and driven manager who took the job in tough circumstances. The RD era has had its ups and downs but I think both he and KM are beginning to understand our culture, and you cannot fault how proactive they have been this summer in getting players in. She loves it here and enjoys her job, you only have to watch her at games to see how much she wants it to be a success.
Perhaps the biggest move was getting JBG signed up for another 4 years. If Cousins can follow (which I believe he will), then I think we've got the foundations of a dark horse for the play offs. No disrespect to the Wilson's and Church's of this world but they were left over from that awkward period of a struggling team. They did all they could for the shirt but for me just didn't cut it.
I'm not saying the players bought in over the last year and a half were better (Nego, PP etc), but I think RD has realised that network wasn't strong enough with some players.
If we can get Henry then full steam ahead for what I hope is a great season. COYR!!!

With all this height being added I hope that our corner taking improves from last year. One of the things I felt JBG lacked given his free kick prowess.

Yeah, I realise that now. You're a charmer aren't you?
Welcome Naby. You will now be affectionately known as Nobby
This.
Or we could play the Stones song Star, Star for him ; - )
Seems like another strong, physical signing and in a position we clearly needed to strengthen.
Could be an interesting season if all the new players settle well and gel into a team.
Expect to read on the OS very soon that Pete and Rhoys have go. Selling them frees us wages and generates income to cover some of the Sarr costs.
i think the song should be "twinkle twinkle Naby sarr"
Just need a couple of lines from the rhyme to make it a proper chant but isnt bad, wont be good for Red Division's image to have them blaring it every five minutes

Appears to be yet another very good signing, well done GL, KM and RD, keep em signing.
Will be nice to see teams cack themselves when they see the size of our side.
Hope he does well.
