I admire the optimism on here but that has got 'weakened' team who don't turn up and get embarrassed all over it to me. Or am I being unnecessarily gloomy just at the moment...

    Do we have weakened team?

Can we stop quoting that picture now please?

Very winnable tie for us. Not a bad fixture.

Five PL-v-PL ties and six Champ-v-Champ ties.

nice! we'll probably be live on BBC

Just for once could we have some serious comments on CharltonLife... there is NO WAY the BBC will show Colchester v Charlton!!

BT Sport get the first rights so they'll obviously pick us before the Beeb
    for a moment there....

    not sure about this-
Harriott is on a half season loan and our 23rd game is Bristol City which is half way through the season so Harriott will be back but cup tied - I think???

I can remember the 0-1 win, when we didn't deserve anything out of the game.
Wooden away stand that a number of people went through.

Still having nightmares of the Llera performance there.

Aah, Layer Road with the terrace consisting of 17 steps. Memories!

Let Harriott stay until at least after this round is resolved, let the lad play for them if we have any grace or class. I reckon letting him get cup tied in the first place is down to the cock up theory of history.
A clear bye into the next round for Colchester, and a stadium that Lech Poznan couldn't create an atmosphere in, and given our support these days, we will be silently hunched against the cold and pissed off all afternoon.

The revolution will NOT be televised.

We'll get to see a left-footed goal scorer haunt his former club with a talismanic performance. Thankfully Johnnie Jackson plays for us

What memories the 0-1 win an own goal

    Don't mind that draw

Fairly local for me so will probably go and take the boy for his first away game.

Outside chance of not seeing us lose as well

I assume Callum will be watching from the stands, but don't forget Sordell and Darren Ambrose!

I hope you're right because that would be great for me personally. But cannot see for the life of me why they would show Colchester vs Charlton , I know there aren't that many exciting ties that have been drawn but that would be a huge shock.

Genuinely shocked that the Beeb haven't somehow nobbled the draw to get Salford playing at Old Trafford
