The best bit is that some people on here must be so upset by us winning

Any Addick upset at us winning needs to ... I don't know what, but whatever it is, they need to do it.
  • brilliant result, even though I dislike our owners, I'm glad we won
    and
great 50 goals from the skipper

Wrong, but you're obviously excited at the thought that there might be.
He's wrong that it's the best bit, but some people on here want us to lose. It's clear as day they want us to lose so this interim manager isn't made permanent, despite some strong results.
I don't believe that for a minute. I hate the Belgians, but when the whistle blows I just want Charlton to win and I expect that's the case for anyone who opposes the owners.
unfortunately a very few, maybe one or two, did say before the game that they wanted us to lose. Weirdos but a fact.

Relax. They're like ghosts and gremlins. Just made up to scare children.
  • Tariq Holmes Dennis man of the match according to Radio London.

    You're not helping me here.

Brilliant result. Didn't go, but this didn't sound like an away smash n grab a la Norwich.

Sounded a solid performance where we created well, were organised and disciplined.

Problem now is, do you bring Solly and Ba straight back in, or keep as is? Good problem for kazza to have. Yes I've nicknamed him kazza!

And when it all starts going tits up, it's not too much of a change to khasi.

  • The diamond formation seems to suit us.....and still players out injured...I think Kashi would play well in this system as well, now onto the TV game next Saturday....can we hope for 3 wins on the spin?

    yes we can.

Hopefully Lookman can look at the likes of Gomez and Poyet and think, maybe, the grass isn't always greener.

take your point re: Poyet but Gomez should be delighted with his move (obviously excepting the injury which could have happened anywhere).

Just looked at the detailed championship league table. If the current form table was assessed over 2 matched we would be top.NO OTHER TEAM IN THE WHOLE CHAMPIONSIP HAS WON THEIR LAST TWO GAMES

It's always nice to find someone who can't make life seem good.
  • did you mean CAN make life seem could

Shelvey and Jenkinson are also both getting plenty of gametime in the PL, even if not with the club that bought them from us
  • Still in a state of shock - delighted with the win. THD settling in nicely.
Hard to believe we've run two on the trot after being so dreadful in previous games.

I think Gomez went into a cauldron at Liverpool though. So young to be given that much responsibility straight off the bat. Could have contributed to his injury.

  • Great result, onwards and upwards!
  • Just seen the goal on SSN. Superb power header by JJ, but what great work by THD. Get In!
  • Three points, clean sheet and the skipper scores the winner... and does 90 minutes! Couple of beers (at least!) tonight!
Only downside is all the talk about young Lookman being given the once over by the scouts. Let's hope we see more of him than we did with Gomez but with the strategic outlook of the current owner I wouldn't be surprised if he's the next one to pack his boots and stroll off into the limelight - or more likely to warm the bench of some Premier club.
  • Well, well well.
  • I'm glad we won, I really am, but I think this is the least excited I've been about a win in a long time. The experiment is really starting to bring me down. Still, we're out of the drop zone, let's hope we kick on
