Richard Murray Time To Speak

Something has been puzzling me for a while, Katrien and Roland both admit they underestimated the Championship, but every Manager appointed was the right one.
They have both stated that their aim is to break even and we can enjoy watching the stars of the future from our academy ,before they are sold on to Premier League clubs.
Fans are customers and weird when they think that they have some kind of ownership of the Club.
Bringing unexperienced foreign players in ,whose standard is at best conference or fourth division ( with a few exceptions recently), and pressurising their managers to play them.

So why with this backdrop does Richard Murray who was actively involved in every transfer done with Curbishley from his appointment until he left and all those years of great signings( some duds but few).
Then all the mistakes he made on his own with both managers and player signings post Curbishley until Varney and Jimenez took over signings, and he witnessed how to do it properly again.
Does he not see ,based on all that experience that these clowns haven't got a clue and why has he not come out openly and said it and walked away, or did he learn nothing in 20 years prior to their arrival.
Or is the reason that maybe he has been involved in advising Katrien and Roland with his vast experience of the championship and football in general ,it has not been working and he he hoped the January transfers would bail him out?
What other explanation could there be,I would love to be enlightened Richard, as unless it is the above , what the hell are you hanging around for and destroying any goodwill you might have left?

    Dushitelet won't let him.
  • Wonder what he said about the Varney approach too.
  • 3million reasons.

Murray isn't allowed to speak. He also wants a his money - good luck with that Muzza. There's more chance of us staying up.

Murray has completely lost any respect he had. The following pictures speak volumes.

  • Dushitelet won't let him.

Got a good strong grip on the balls presumably
  • No goodwill left, the bloke is a complete and utter cretin. Not even the intelligence to get out before it got this bad.

Seems he will prostitute himself to the Belgians for the sake of getting a few quid back.
  • Henry you are welcome.
He didn't need to stay to get his money back,he has charge over all assets, thats why all the other 6 Ex Directors with loans left.
Maybe the being involved and Title of Chairman is more important, deluded.

Thanks for the paragraphs and line spacing.

Does anyone know a comms girl who is looking for work.....
  • Can't Airman get Murray on the blower for a few choice words?
  • Someone is going to have to crawl out of the woodwork and say something soon to address relegation and its implications for next season.
  • He ain't got the arsehole to speak out and if he did who would actually believe the Judas
  • It's clear from his few utterances that he's completely in bed with Duchatalet, whether because he actually believes they are right or because he wants his money back and see RD as the best way to do it remains to be seen.

For fans, he's contaminated his legacy and is not wanted near the club. He says nothing, largely because he is sensible enough to realise that few would listen to him any more. When Duchatalet departs, Murray will go the same way.
  • Richard Murray's time to speak out was around the time of the Sheff W home car park protests, unprecedented for a club like Charlton. He instead used the staged 'fans meeting' to launch a staunch defence of the regime.

He then when things escalated further thought he could calm it all with his website Q&A which again offered a strong defence.

Richard Murray has made it very clear what side of the fence he sits on.

Yup, and he's desperate to preserve his role at Charlton just as much as Neightmeire Daisy, Sycophant Mandy and Tony no-Cojones.
  • Judas tosser.
  • The question is.. Is RM only coming out in support of RD and KM?.. because if he don't he is gonna be sacked because he is just an employee now. Dos he he think privately.. "Wtf is this this guy doing to the club I helped bring back to The Valley?" Well I'd like to think that is the case anyway.

  • Murray enjoys the limelight.

Murray is also bitter. He thought the club's success was mostly down to him and Curbs. And since Curbishley left, or was forced out, it he has been a disaster.

    Pretty much this.

  • Murray wants his money back, and enjoys the limelight. Fair enough.
But he has hitched his wagon to Roland, who will never get the club to the PL, so Murray will never get his money back.

Also, I understand that he and Varney may no longer be on speaking terms. A shame, because they were part of the good times.

The thing is when RM sold the club to TJ and MS in late 2010 he only sold 90% and still kept 10%. I believe he still has that 10%. So TJ and MS said their stake to RD. Surely RM would have no say who gets his old stake if he doesn't own it anymore.

So at least we can draw some satisfaction from the fact the old sod's lost some cash as well as having sold us down the river
  • he stays because he believes he can do more good on the inside rather than just being another protester - he has also lost faith now in rd and you may well see evidence of this soon - do not renew your season ticket

pretty sure the whispers came out of the valley that was the same reason he didn't resign at the same time as airman, peter varney and kavanagh left the club. I'm more inclined to believe he doesn't want to lose his place at the table than anything else.
