Smith is 'boxing by numbers' - a manufactured boxer. Canelo a 100% natural fighter - he out jabbed a jabber, his body shots and uppercuts always thrown with venom, his defence impeccable, and a chin of granite. The complete package and amongst the very best I've seen in my lifetime.
He's a natural middleweight though for me and a third fight with GGG is the big money match. Golovkin looked very good on Friday and the fight would obviously sell. Would also love to see him up against BJS who I rate very highly - but on tonight's showing you couldn't oppose Canelo.

Smith was outclassed completely and utterly I backed Canelo on points and won next to nothing but it was like buying money even if that was only a small amount of money
Smith has had warning signs for this happening, he won the title by beating a half fit George Groves who was giving him a rough fight and should have lost to Ryder in what I see as one of the grossest injustices in British boxing for a very long time and given British boxings proclivity for bent scoring thats impressive.
Alvarez is an incredible boxer who i would love to see fight Billy Joe or Golovkin again
Yeah I had a small wager on a points win for Canelo, thought it was the obvious result. Smith is decent but Canelo made him look very poor. No shame in that, although I'd like to have seen some more tactics from him. Don't disagree with the view that his only intention was to last 12 rounds. Don't think he could have beaten Canelo regardless, but gave himself no chance except to finish the fight.
Haven't looked forward to a scrap this much in a while.
First real test for Garcia, I think he gets stopped late but wouldn't be surprised to see boxings potential new poster boy get a dodgy decision. Garcia has already said he wants pacqiao and Tank as his next 2 fights.... If he does pull this off I might start to believe the hype, as luke Campbell is no mug

can’t see Campbell getting a win here, dazn heavily invested in garcia and imo Campbell will need to stop him to get a win.
