@Belgiumbun are you making a late run against Michael Douglas in who gets the lead role in 'Rolling with Roland'? If so you're too late, I'm going with Douglas.
Your interest has been duly noted and Katrien and I will consider you as a stand in for any personal appearances Roland can't, or doesn't want to do, such as Charlton home games.
Added to that the paranoia and insults - I am not a club stooge - I don't post on other sites and yes I am a supporter and no I do not support the regime - but I'd rather them given a chance to put this right than throw this club to some second hand car salesman.
How much more of a chance do you want to give these people? Where have you been for the last couple of years?
I am more than happy to debate any point with any of you but as nobody has provided me with a workable viable alternative to replace Roland - then my opening post has still been ignored. I would welcome board change but show me the money first not rumour or idle gossip.

The protest are failing. The moment passed when the TV cameras showed a paltry walk out the other week by just a few hundred fans. Don't matter how you spin it or how many stats that might make up to make you feel better - the war is being lost and an change of personnel/tactics is required. Villa fans got what they what so did Liverpool with less commitment. I admire the effort but until you work out another tact - it's Belgium waffles next season
Interesting as many Villa fans have commented on our protests and lamented the fact that they have not been able to match them.

"Villa fans got what they what".
I can almost hear the broken English, Belgian accent.
Well quite. I don't care if Belgian Bum says he's a Charlton fan or not, it's very clear that he isn't. He has a breathtaking lack of understanding of the situation of Charlton and what CARD is all about.
All this "be careful what you wish for" nonsense. You know what. Bring it on. I'd rather the club was owned by a genuine small local businessman with a heart for the club and a pipe dream of getting into the Premier League. Where decisions were both good and bad but always based on "the club" and what it stands for. I despise your arrogance and belief that because RD has big bucks he is always going to be best. I can tell you what my sticky sugar coated friend. He will never be right for this football club because he is a soulless, disingenuous and cowardly man that will be hounded until he sees sense.
I'd actually rather for the club to fail and start again than give any of my money to the Belgian.
Until he sells up I'm done with Charlton. I expect that a lot will feel the same.
"then my opening post has still been ignored. I would welcome board change but show me the money first not rumour or idle gossip."
YOU are having a laugh aren't you ? there's 7 freaking pages giving you answers to your OP & it appears that you haven't had the decency to read ANY of them #wasteoftime
A few years ago when Rupert Lowe owned Southampton he wanted to put counter arguments to the criticism he was getting on the Southampton fans' forum so he logged on anonymously as a few different people.
He realised he couldn't just launch in to saying how wonderful he thought he was so he started off by being critical and saying that 'Rupert Lowe is a bit of a twat isn't he?' And after a few weeks of slagging himself off under various guises he started his charm offensive. For example, 'I've been critical in the past but I've got to say that stuff Rupert Lowe is coming out with makes a lot of sense', he would then log on as another of his pseudonyms and say 'I've got to agree with you there, he's bloody great that Rupert Lowe', then he'd log on as his next user name and agree some more.
Of course it soon became apparent what he was doing and those running the site exposed him. I'm not doing the story justice - it made the press and is quite amusing especially some of the insults he threw at himself whilst trying to build up his false identities. I've googled for it but can't find it.
It looks like something similar is coming out of Charlton at present.

Card's mandate was to ensure a 'swift resolution' to the problems with the board and fans. Or at least that what was on the bumf I read. So card got it wrong.
Replace Roland with who?
Replace Katrien with who.
There are other fans at this club as well. There are fans that care just as much about CAFC than those that throw plastic balls about. They need convincing that an action group is not a wrecking crew.
There are alternatives to fighting
The egos on this board demonstrate that reasoned debate is difficult
The club was relegated to the old third division before and none of this abuse was experienced against the board - why? Maybe some of the fans liked being mates with the board at that time.
Card does not go on other forums and promote themselves - why?
You can't tell anyone how to spend their money. If you have 40m please buy us out.
If your want to support the club you have to be in Card - how so? Illogical and irrational.
How was Card formed? Is Card actually Cast!
You take the club as you find it. If you don't like it don't go. Season ticket boycotts (really) the club know they same faces will go.
Here we go again. This Is exactly why I do not trust the judgement of those on this board. Your all paranoid and frightened to step out of the line. No I am not any of the above, no I am not a club employee and yes I am a supporter. A supporter that might not want my club played as a pawn by an egotistical chairman and a reoccurring fan group that cannot provide me with assurances that the protest have the blessing of the majority of the fans and for the common good of CAFC.
Some of you complained that I have not answered your questions - I have tried but the abusive ones get binned, the one word answers are unhelpful and almost all misquoted me. I will respect any question properly directed at me. At least have the balls not to hunts in packs and recognise that someone may not agree with wearing face masks and fulham scarves as a serious attempt to unsettle the board.
I also find the heightened sense of paranoia and half baked theories alarming. Someone might not agree with you. If one looks at the theories here about my identity it is even more important that someone in authority responds to me.
The protest are not achieving results that is apparent. The walk out was disappointing and the pitch invasion would not have stopped a subuteo game. The Pinocchio idea was childish and puerile. The black and white scarves idea is a rip off and the coffin idea was pure theatre that it was more the Charton dramatic society than a serious visual reconstruction of the situation we are in.
If CARD want to to represent the fans without asking their permission then they should be able to take the criticisms and brick bats that will follow.
Before all these protests - I turned up to matches watched the game and went home.
I was Pro Roland as his ideas initially seemed valid (there is even a photo of me out in Belgium with him all smiles) I had no issue with katrien, I also spoke to her in Belgium and had a good laugh with her and found her approach to be refreshing.
However over time it all came undone, as more and more words came from their mouths I started to realise we were gong to get in big trouble.
Eventually I started to help with protests (the black and white scarfs the first time) I think this was before CARD was formed. before that day as I said I didn't know many Charlton fans. I met Joe that day briefly and a few other supporters and we were met with a lot of abuse.
The protest ideas flooded in and it became a shambles so "we" started calling on the trust to step up! it was apparent that it would be best to have an anonymous (I think) group of people of all different backgrounds and to my knowledge that is what CARD is now.
To this day I haven't a clue who is part of CARD! but I do get info through the grapevine.
When we went to Belgium I came away feeling that perhaps CARD were scared to take any Risk and were using other fans to do there "dirty work" however it was pointed out to me that CARD didn't exist really! they are just a united front that help get the message across.
It could be argued that I'm part of CARD? I think that's the point!
I believe anyone who protests are part of CARD - you must also realise not everything can come from CARD because they are the media outlet effectively - and as I said to a fellow fan on Saturday when he suggested we had to get violent in our protests - why would he expect CARD to call for that? also one wrong move and CARD would be bombarded by both supporters and the media/club! so they have to be careful as they represent the united front of the majority of the fan base!
There was one guy who recommended ripping out the seats of the north upper and throwing them on the pitch! Do you want CARD to be associated with that? I doubt anyone does.
Saying all that it doesn't make there actions un accountable! so anyone who questions CARD are entitled to without ridicule, but don't expect much agreement from the 2% of fans who want Roland out!
Anyway IMO they are doing a great job and it has made me feel more attached to the club all these protests and stuff - I 100% believe in the cause, and if what comes after Roland is worse I will fight them too!
I have tried to point you in the direction of the answers you seek. You seem reluctant to do the research. Others have taken the time to respond specifically your challenges. Yet your approach in responding to such information is to mirror that of the club under this regime positioning any criticism as merely derogatory comment.
You have chosen to reassert your opposition to the CARD initiative yet your comments today are as baseless as they were yesterday. To this point this thread must rank alongside one of the most futile exercises imaginable. Once again you offer nothing but supposition.
After effectively 7 pages of "non- debate" your underlying message is;
- I do not like this regime. - I want to give the regime a chance to change - The protests are not helping and have failed - if you seek change show me the money
If you seek change why criticise the one vehicle for change? How do you propose to secure change?
This regime has shown absolutely no inclination for change.
Only against your criteria are the protests as seen as not helping and to have failed
In the history of any change of ownership where has anyone ever, ever "shown the money" before the deal was done. The financier behind Slater and Jiminez never publically declared his interest. Your requirement is not deliverable. No business will publically declare their interest BEFORE the deal is done. Any such declaration would immediately alert others to their potential detriment.
The requirement is as out of touch with the industry as the Duchatelet regime. It is a nonsense.
Your entire critique of CARD, including a vague assertion concerning personal interests, (readers of ITTV will recognise that old chestnut) is based on your concocted rationale. Your lack of understanding of English language is a concern
CARD is the "Coalition against Roland Duchatelet". As such it is a cooperative of people who ultimately are seeking one common result - change. On the basis of the evidence of the past 2yrs such change necessitates the removal of this regime.
CARD is structured to provide a vehicle and support for those who wish to register their opposition to the current regime.
This message board facilitates an information outlet for such a vehicle.
No message board offers a source of comfort for the current regime - entirely the reverse That others do not support CARD is entirely their prerogative. The underlying reasons however differ greatly. One or two contributors support the regime, others were instrumental in organising West Stand Car Park protests, while some are scathing of the civilised (legal) manner of protest, randomly suggesting alleged acts of violence.
What alternative do you offer?
The purpose of protest is to raise the profile of the issues at hand in an attempt to bring about change - the very same change you finally conceded you were also seeking.
Several protests have been by and on behalf of people outside the CARD umbrella.
To argue protests facilitated via CARD have failed is to completely misunderstand its purpose.
CARD has created the environment, the vehicle, the support and catalyst for change. Through the ingenuity and unpaid endeavours of a wide range of supporters the issues impacting the club have been put in the national and international public domain on a sustained basis.
It has worked and continues to function very well within and without social media. The issues at hand are being put very effectively in the public domain on a regular basis.
The protests have also to be put in the context of thousands of supporters no longer being present to express their views via mass protests, wearing black & white or temporarily disrupting games. Thousands have registered their protest against this regime by simply walking away.
Let there be no doubt the disaffection with this regime is serious, is complete, is tangible and is widespread.
Most fully accept change is risk. Anyone who operates their own business or has studied business management techniques will advise you never have all of the answers, never have all of the information you want to guarantee any business venture. M. Duchatelet will no doubt concur with such a reality.
Many naturally oppose risk and with the demographics of the clubs support it is surprising the call for change is so widespread. I suspect it has come as a shock to this regime. For so many supporters to publicly register their protest at the manner in which the club is being operated is a very significant issue demonstrating the totality of this regimes failure.
Such is the regimes' inexperience of the market it comes as no surprise they neither understand or recognise the cause of such disaffection and thus seek to minimise or deflect their responsibility.
There is no guarantee there will be a "knight in shining armour" or anyone with the resources to take the club forward. So why take the risk in demanding change?
The answers for me and many others is the rationale, values and methodologies being used by this regime breach the basic reason for the clubs or indeed any professional clubs existence - the pursuit of sporting excellence and all it encompasses.
It is a betrayal of the clubs history and all who have served and supported it for many decades.
Many have long sought dialogue with the regime. They will only engage on their own terms. They talk at us, not to us. We have waited for months to see the slightest glimmer of change, of explanation, in determining whether this regime even understands what it is trying to do.
We hear of learning from mistakes yet they repeat and repeat those same mistakes. They simply refuse to respect the market and the industry in which have chosen to operate.
Operationally, financially and emotionally they function "at arms length".
Under such a regime there is no future worthy of the classification of a professional sporting enterprise let alone the clubs' history. For a very significant number of people the club is already dying.
Through their words & actions the regime have displayed there is no appetite for change. So limited is their understanding of the market they have neither the skills or the resources to effect the change required.
The evidence across playing, operational and financial performance clearly demonstrates their "project" has come off the rails yet this regime remains locked into the "Roland knows best" mantra.
The one person who challenged the mantra left her post after 46 days
Just how far do you want the club to fall before you choose to "man the barricades"?
I am more than happy to debate any point with any of you but as nobody has provided me with a workable viable alternative to replace Roland - then my opening post has still been ignored. I would welcome board change but show me the money first not rumour or idle gossip.

You done well Incorruptible/Spouting Rubbish, 6500 views since yesterday.
More audience for you than on ITTV, keep posting Nigel.
Just got to read this from the opening post from Belgian Bun!
We are stuck with this regime. We can't tell Roland how to spend his money nor can we replace Katiren. The abuse that woman keeps getting ensures her future. It's obvious that she is out of her depth but what is the alternative? Roland will not buckle and as I see it Katrien has bigger balls than the fans that despise her so much.
Would like to respond in a full manner to the whole post but got an early start tomorrow so maybe in 24 hours but I take great exception to the misguided 'praise' given to Katrien Meire in the above Para from Belgium Bun. He/she seems suggest that its ok to make a complete and utter cock-up of your job, insult your customers or whatever you want to call them, become a liability to your employer and openly state that you don't care about the previous 100+ years of the Club which employs you but all is forgiven if you then have the 'balls' to carry on regardless when all your shortcomings are made public and your customers turn against you?
Seriously? Any person with a modicum of self-respect would take responsibility and resign with an apology to boot - that is the act of courage that is necessary. But no, still being paid to sit there grinning indefinitely whilst the place collapses around her, picking up awards and being invited to speak at conferences - nice work if you can get but brave - no I don't think so .
Plus, BB, you see no alternative to Katrien Meire? Yeah, ok this part of your post does leave me speechless - I'm off to bed.
The fan base at Charlton in whatever form, CARD or the Valley party have already achieved something Unquie (that's weird in Katy speak) in football and with continued support will achieve something unique again!
The RD and KM regime will die off mostly from self inflicted wounds they are currently "in Crisis" by thier own admittance.
Apart from that, the old twat has built the BIGGEST MONEY PIT I've ever seen, £50 Million to date.
Gone by Christmass, if not sooner and well done to anyone who's done anything to speed that along.
Belgiumbun - what is the alternative to CARD's action? What do you suggest...? Surely you must admit the current regime are ruining the club...? Maybe you should try answering a few questions...!?!?
He's only here to ask questions & gather information
Right, I've sat on the sidelines for this thread as long as humanly possible now, but I can't sit on my hands any longer.
Seeing as it's patently obvious you have no intention in answering the many quite reasonable questions by anyone on here, maybe you'll indulge me by answering this very simple yes or no one @Belgiumbun...
Are you a club employee? Yes or no. Because it bloody well sounds like it mate.

Comments
Your interest has been duly noted and Katrien and I will consider you as a stand in for any personal appearances Roland can't, or doesn't want to do, such as Charlton home games.
I'll be in touch,
Best Regards,
How much more of a chance do you want to give these people? Where have you been for the last couple of years?
BB needs the attention and you are fueling him
All this "be careful what you wish for" nonsense. You know what. Bring it on.
