As Elliott is at virtually every home game sat in front of squirrel face, the woman will not be able to f*** him around regards communicating/meetings like with Varney.
SLP says Roland wants £38m. I bet he bloody does. I can't see anyone paying £38m for what is essentially now a League One outfit. Even if we were safe it would be a stretch to get that kind of cash.
I want to see the money first. No point having a takeover if they don't have real money. 30m+ would be a joke price In our position
Agreed it's a lot but if someone was really prepared to go for it then I don't believe it's too much to ask. Brilliant location in London, great fanbase, first class academy plans already underway, potential to expand the stadium if they really wanted to. I think if someone really wanted to give it a go with us then they'd be prepared to stump up 30m.

Presumably plus the £12mn for the training ground development, assuming contracts had been signed. Surely, nobody would be silly enough to go for that?
PE wouldn't be my first choice of our experienced players to run our club, however he chooses to be at all our home games so he must either be mad or committed to the cause.

That jumped out to me too.
How on earth can he want £38,000,000 for a League One club, when he purchased it only 2 years prior for £20,000,000 and it was a league higher and staffed with competent and qualified staff?
As others have previously observed, the club's true valuation is only what someone will be prepared to pay. I'm going to hope that this is figure is purely aimed at weeding out low-ball offers, and will be used as a figure to start negotiations at.

Well he'd probably claim that he's pumped a huge amount of money into facilities at the valley including the pitch, seats, screen etc. and a lot into the training ground. Might well be true but still not going to effect the valuation of the club if we're in L1.

How much of the £38m reflects money that has actually been stumped up? If you are a cynic, you might think that much of the Academy expenditure has yet to be paid, and the quoted sum represents a fairly significant profit.

I would expect that would be his argument, but £18,000,000 seems way off the mark - and hasn't work at the Training Ground stopped mysteriously? I'm wondering where this leaves the debt too - is the debt factored in to the sale?

Does anyone know where they actually got to with Sparrows Lane before the work stopped?
There is always a negotiating price, the same as when people sell their homes....so lets see where this goes, if this is factual and i have no reason to think its not, then we may well be on the way to seeing RD finally going. If PE's consortium includes or is 100% middle eastern money, perhaps, just perhaps, KM was out in Dubai checking it all out?

I'm familiar with the saying "better the devil you know", but surely nobody could do a worse job?
Must get £28m as a minimum.
Intend to get £33m if at all possible.
Like to get £38m if some mug will pay it.
