There is always a negotiating price, the same as when people sell their homes....so lets see where this goes, if this is factual and i have no reason to think its not, then we may well be on the way to seeing RD finally going. If PE's consortium includes or is 100% middle eastern money, perhaps, just perhaps, KM was out in Dubai checking it all out?
I'm not sure why I keep saying £20m, I always seem to get that wrong. That just makes it all even more confusing though - so instead of £18,000,000 on top - it's actually £24,000,000. I'd love to see how he can justify that.
If my maths isn't wrong, that's a good 170%+ profit - all in 2 years. (Based on a £24,000,000 profit from a £14,000,000 purchase) That would be pure profit too if the debts to Staprix were to remain on the books, as his actual "investment" will be returned with interest over the next x years.
RD is only in football to make money. Must be the only owner outside of the Premier League that thinks he can make a profit in football right now. He's a failure of epic proportions when it comes to PR. I wonder whether his businesses actually have a complaints departments. Arse. Piss off to anywhere else. Please buy Millwall!!
Anyone know what Elliott has been up to since he finished playing? Has he made a lot of money in business, or would he just be the middle man? I understand that Paul Miller and David Campbell are the very rich former centre halves!
He's was pretty active in the FA and kick it out campaigns. Until he and Rufus had a falling out over a business matter and Elliott texted him using the racist word beginning with N.
He resigned and has held more minor roles since (I read today)

Front man that's all. Could have a role if it happens but Elliot doesn't have that sort of money.

I thought he was importing clothes, Something to do with Paul Walsh?
SLP says Roland wants £38m. I bet he bloody does. I can't see anyone paying £38m for what is essentially now a League One outfit. Even if we were safe it would be a stretch to get that kind of cash.
could be covering the "quasi equity" roland's already put into the club.
Yeah, nice one, buy an asset, run it into the ground with much lower revenues than when you bought it and expect to make a profit/not make a loss on sale?

Probably, but much of the quasi equity is the money he paid for the club. It seems he is trying to get back his initial investment plus all the extra money he has put in, which is not going to happen. He may think he has added value to the club with all the cash he has put in, but that's simply not true. The money he has put in has done nothing because it was spent in all the wrong places and on dud players and such.
He will not get £38m for the club. If he is starting to think about selling, he needs to consider how much he will lose by keeping hold of the club than what he will lose by selling it. He is going to have to fund losses for many years to come and only reaching the Premier League will give him any chance of getting that money back.

But still cheaper than buying a Premier League club. Best way to do it for an owner that's prepared to put the effort in. Not so long ago Leicester and Southampton were League One.

i've said it before but leicester winning the premier league could be a serious help in attracting seriously wealthy buyers.
So we now have two glimmers of light at the end of this Belgian tunnel, come on Roland make it happen lets bring this horrible business to an end before the summer.

Wouldn't surprise me if he took all the lightbulbs with him!

All makes a bit more sense.
