yes, hasnt even played a county champs match yet. Ashley Giles said they are trying to nurture a special talent and not try to put him under too much physical pressure too early.

Mendis looks like he could hopefully blossom into quite a player

Playing one hell of an innings right now

    Who does he play for?
  • Kent
  • Decent test match between Sri Lanka & Australia on Eurosport 2 at the moment
  • Mendis has sorted out their batting, and now Sandakan their bowling. Ripper!
  • Imagine how good England would have been with Herath their spinner since Swann retired (and alongside him tbf)
  • We need a good spinner. I'm not sure Moeen is up to it really - I guess following such a good spinner like Swann was always going to be difficult.

Incredibly O'Keefe and Neville, for the ninth wicket, have faced the most number of balls of any partnership in the innings (107) - of which 106 of those balls have been dot-balls ! - a partnership of 4 off 107 balls.

  • They've now gone 150 balls with 149 being dots.
  • Kettleborough is a joke of an umpire
  • 20th consecutive maiden - a new world record.
  • Is Warne smugly going on about teams being willing to lose, like he does when england engage in 2 session blockathons. I really want SL to win this
  • All over! Scorecard shows they lost their last 3 wickets for 4 runs. Not the whole story, though
  • 161 all out - SL win by 106 runs. Australia's 7th consecutive loss in Asia.

Oz batted the last 193 balls for 4 runs with 1 scoring shot.
  • That Mendis innings surely one of the modern greats, btw

Just managed to get tickets for the 1st day of the 4th test at the oval. Still a few tickets available if anyone's interested

My mate has probably got a spare for Day 1. We booked, 4 together in the OCD stand, block 12 next to the sight screen, towards the rear (in the shade/out of the rain). £75.

I'm sure one of the 4 said yesterday that he will be holidaying in Turkey.

I'm trying to get him to confirm.

Let me know if anyone is interested or we'll flog it to a tout.
