  • Not seen mentioned anywhere on here but seen on a couple of Twitter accounts we are in for Marvin sordell on a free. The merry go-round continues it seems

I would actually be happy with this. Am I the only one???!!!
  • The spell with us is the second most successful spell of his career! Only scored 4 for Colchester according to wiki

    Was one against us?

Him and Harriott linked up well towards the end of our threatened season whilst for a while they seemed to turn around Colchester's season (i.e. it began with them in trouble and at one stage it appeared as though the two would drag them into the Play-Offs).

Sadly that didnt happen... We know what did happen but maybe with a better bunch of players?

Transfer rumours from website HITC have suggested that Crawley Town midfielder Gwion Edwards is being tracked by League One clubs Charlton Athletic and MK Dons.

However, any deal for the Welsh winger would not be a free transfer as HITC have wrongly stated that Edwards is out of contract this summer - in fact he is under contract at Crawley until the summer of 2017 after triggering an extension.

He'd be better off staying at Crawley with their new owner who's talking the right talk

The four scored were in the League... He scored another two in the FA Cup. (one being against us)

  • Could do a lot worse than getting Sordell back... a good player just needs confidence and consistency (so really should not be coming to a club like ours at the moment)

How could we do worse? 4 goals in this league! We need 15-20 from our main striker. Piggott is twice the player he is and he is not deemed good enough - quite rightly.

But it would only happen because Katrien has heard of him.

Yet scored 7-goals in a higher league for us and 21-goals when at Watford...

Its clear there is a player there who knows where the goal is

Just a shame he can't put the ball in it more often.

15 goals in the last 4 years. His 21 goals for Watford were scored over 3 years!

Averages 6 goals a season. That is a poor return for any forward.
  • 2010/2011 he got 15 goals
2011/2012 he got 10 goals prior to being sold in January.

He did score against us, and I was there to witness it. 'Twas a day to compare with any losing to the scum at the toolbox.
  • Sordell is shit
  • Sordell is useless, how could anyone want him back. 1 good season does not make you a good player.

According to most people on here, 1 bad season makes you a bad manager if the other threads are anything to go by.

Nope his son is @ Walsall
  • Wouldnt mind Ben Turner (Cardiff) Simon Cox / Hal Robson-Kanu (Reading) from the above Championship list.
  • Lloyd Dyer, ex Watford, released by Burnley ? .. tricky winger, dodgy temperament
  • Would take maynard from MK in League One
