I can't believe the people on here who are suggesting that leaving the valley would be a good move, if it meant RD leaving. If the idea of a move had come from RD everyone would be beyond outraged and calling him the devil incarnate. We seem to live in an age where people just want short term gain. The valley is the home of CAFC I hope that it will outlive the current directors and most if not all of us on Charlton Life.
Highbury was the home of Arsenal, Filbert Street was the home of Leicester, Maine Road was the home of Manchester City, The Baseball ground was the home of Derby County.....I could go on! Anyway it was a side point - and maybe for us to disagree on when it is a possibility. Not a figment of our CEO's hyper active imagination!

And all their new stadiums are soulless, featureless, non descript places.
While she's at it maybe she would like to explain what the meeting between RM and the Sheffield Utd chairman Kevin McCabe was about on the morning of SCP'S last match in charge , surely that wasn't about the potential of a move to the Peninsula was it Richard
RM follows me on here, he was asking Kevin McCabe if Sheff Utd really are going to come good

Difference being Mutts, that none of those grounds were fit for purpose any more. The Valley is a modern FAPL standard stadium, a bit tired, in need of a revamp, and some increased prawn sandwich capacity, but otherwise fine for a lower level FAPL club.....ahem.
This is absolutely brilliant... Even I didn't believe she could fuck up announcing a decent manager this badly. Peter should demand that she retracts the statement in a video as the main news article on the OS

I doubt that Leicester's ground was soulless last season....
...but we digress, because our beloved CEO has somehow found yet another way to wind us all up. I'm wondering if this is all some master plan to become a kind of Euro Donald Trump, believing in your self completely and hence happy to spout any old guff. Following the Donald's model beautifully at the moment, including running a business towards bankruptcy..
Stand by for an announcement whereby she's going to build a wall to keep the 2% out...
I haven't read the intervening 5 pages yet but I just couldn't wait to express my unbridled joy that, on what should have been a carefully controlled exercise in positive public relations for the club, Katrien has stepped up to the plate and changed the agenda. Instead of effectively flicking the V's and shouting "look everybody we've changed, look who's got a British manager! And we've told him he can have a say in transfers...*sniggers*....so there!", the club will once again be on the back foot explaining why she lied again.
does this mean meire told porkies about not being interested in selling? ohhh dear..
Lets face it, all clubs are for sale if the director gets a good profit and if asked by the media the answer from pretty much all the clubs is 'we are not for sale'.

Just when the protests went quiet at the end of the season up pops KM at the BT conference to fan the flames of protest.
And just when they is some positive news about an English manager KM f**** that up too.
There is only one logical explanation.
Katrien is a double agent who's secretly working for CARD

You genuinely couldn't make it up.
There's your target 20k sorted.
