Words most people use incorrectly

Thought I'd start this because particularly recently the word bigot is used all the time, within the news, politics and just by the general public.
Yet I am still waiting to hear the term used correctly.
The word bigot refers to "a person who is intolerant towards those holding different opinions."
Whilst being homophobic and racist is very wrong, those who are, are not bigots. Hatred towards religion may be bigoted if hatred is to do with not allowing them to believe what they want.
In fact in a strange way those who shout down racist people are actually bigots themselves (whether its deserved or not).

"fascist"
seems like anyone who you dare insult their unique little snowflake-ness by holding a different opinion and challenging theirs makes you an early-mid 20th century far right italian activist.1 -
