Probably off most people's radars, but I watched the weighlifting last night. Guy from Kazakhstan needed a world record by 4kgs to win gold, and did it. Amazing.he couldn't decide whether to praise Allah on his knees and pointing to the sky, or whether to do a disco dance, so he did both. Pure joy... It was a pleasure to watch

I should add the guy was previously banned for drugs and someone else broke their elbow mid lift. It was good telly. Enjoying the cycling now

We looked like we knew we were beaten before it even started. Put so much effort into our tight quarter and semi finals, that we looked totally gone by the time the final started. Fiji were immense though, although 7s is supposedly their national sport so not exactly unexpected.
