I was at the game this afternoon, quite enjoyable, although turned into a long afternoon with a lot of injury time added due to many stoppages for treatment to various players & the referee. Not sure if it was mentioned in the commentary, but Watford had two players with famous fathers number 8 was Henry Wise, son of Dennis & number 11 was Maurizio Pochettino son of Mauricio.
Not the best game. Bloody cold. We definitely did not deserve to lose so I’m glad we got the equaliser. too mAny rushed passes and we strayed from our short, incisive passing game by trying to force it. Pleasant couple of hours though
Nathan HARVEY Jeremy SANTOS Richard CHIN Deji ELEWERE Charlie BARKER Lucas NESS Terrell AGYEMANG Aaron HENRY (c) Daniel KANU Euan WILLIAMS Ryan VIGGARS
Subs: Ahmed Kone (GK), Samuel Oguntayo, Harris O'Connor, Jason Adigun, Wassim Aouachria
Kanu starts. Adigun's first involvement at U23 level this season.
1 nil up at half time. Look solid at the back. Henry pulling the strings but sometimes guilty of the million dollar ball. Agyemang really impressed me in the first 45.
Half time leading 1-0. Some lovely play I thought. Lots of eye catching performances, very hard to identify a player who has not made a positive contribution. Richard Chin is such a likeable footballer, the kind of player we have all (us crap ones) tried to be from our schooldays, but he pulls it off. Hope he progresses as he is a natural, and Aaron Henry is effective and always looking to be creative. There have been others who have played well. I would like it if we could establish a lead good enough to be able to get Jason Adigun on, but his role is usually so much like Aaron Henry's I wonder if both could play together. Lovely watch so far, hope it continues.

Hales i think was the last senior striker but does anyone know (i don't) the last striker at U18 or reserve level to score 30+ in a season for us?
The goal was entertaining.
