  • FT 2 - 0 to the northerners
  • To much first team experience for some of the players, I guess showing up now in the u21 performances.
  • Blooming typical!
I was out rescuing a dumped goat and missed all the action 😤🤣🤣
Is that code for going to an orgy or something?
  • Playing today at 1pm in cup match away to Bournemouth. They have already qualified for the next stage but unfortunately we have not
  • Here’s how our U21s line up against AFC Bournemouth U21s in this afternoon’s Premier League Cup tie: Adegoke; Hobden, Toure, Bakrin, Dench; Gough (c), Santos, Hand; Rylah, Mbick, Ladapo Subs: Batt, Adigun, Mwamba, Enslin.

    Very young side.

Asiimwe and Anderson not with the U21s, unlike Tuesday, so presumably have travelled with the first team.

No Ward either but may not be able to play overage players in these cup games

  • 3-0. 15 mins.
  • We are already out of this cup, even if we won, which is probably the reason Asiimee and Anderson with the 1st team

With Edun suspended, I'm sure Asiimwe would be with the first team, even if we had a chance of progressing.

A strange day to schedule an U21 game. Fine for Bournemouth as they don't have a first team game, but we do.

  • Didn't they thrash us in the home leg by a bigger margin?

Am sure Man City are delighted to see Fiorini playing for our U21s lol!

More minutes for Taylor and Isted too

  • Still playing 433 by the looks of it

Good to see we are actually out first teamers to get minutes.. about time we did this!!
Yeah especially those coming back from injury - At least Taylor wont be quite so rusty from match sharpness if he gets thrown back in going forward for example.
  • Wasn’t aware Chin was back from Dartford

I think he can stay on loan...but come back and play in the U21s.

  • Man City won't mind Fiorini getting a run out with the 21s.

He's here to get '90 minutes-fit' and sharp.
And ultimately to prove his match fitness.

Only one way to do that - play games.
Any competitive games, as many as his broken body can cope with.

  • Much stronger side as others have said.

Assume that they have OKed it with Man City over Fiorini.  Should be low pressure game for him to get 30 or 45 minutes.

Hope Campbell gets his mojo back too.  That's a speedy front three for Fiorini to pick a pass or two too.

Isted in goal is also an interesting one. Again he needs minutes but where is Ward?

Looking forward to watching this one.

McGrandles not involved so starting on Saturday : - )

  • Easy, easy

    1 - 0 Taylor 2 mins

And TC  misses a very good chance make it two
  • 11 mins and we're well on top so far.

Swans had a couple of corners but nothing else.

Taylor and Fiorini looking very comfortable and controlling game

Good to see Williams on the bench, think he has been injured much of the season.  Maybe same with Huke too?

Taylor bossing midfield. Fiorini making no impact so far.
Which is a shame as we have Coventry and Dobbo in Taylor's position, but no proper 10 in Fiorini's
  • Why is Toby Bower not in the squad? I thought he would be coming through better than he has.
  • TC does well to cut inside and curl a shot against the post.

Game been a bit flat last 15 minutes
