To get a fuller picture you should have added ATP 1000 tournaments. Andy has won 10, Stan 1.ForeverAddickted said:

Three finals three wins - Stan has got to feel unlucky that he plays in the sports greatest era. Imagine how many slams Stan could have won if not for Roger Novak and Rafa....
Wawrinka = 3 Grand Slams / 1 Davis Cup / 1 Olympic Doubles Gold Medal
Both have extremely similar records and believe the gap is closer between Murray / Wawrinka than Djokovic / Murray... At the same time Andy isnt our Greatest EVER Sportsman but he is our Greatest in the last couple of decades.2 -
I left that out as wasnt sure on where I could get the Masters information from...redman said:

The media dont help though do they... I'm sure I read somewhere that Tennis players treat the Masters as the top / then come the Grand Slams / then comes the Olympics... Its only the media that put the emphasis on the Slams?MrOneLung said:

Stan the Man lived in Roger Federer's shadow for so long.
the difference was when he got to his late 20's he suddenly became a much better player in the slams. A lot of this was down to Magnus Norman, his coach. The Wawrinka single handed backhand is a shot of aesthetic delight; from a man who is strong as a Ox.
How we will miss Roger,Andy, Novak, Rafa and Stan when they retire in a few years time. What a vacuum they will leave, and yet, what an opportunity for the next generation of Tennis Athletes.2
