The loss to Wigan was the big hit when it came to a head and the loss to CAFC was just the hair that broke the camel's back.
Once you fall out with the majority of the fan base and your son has taken verbal abuse it's time to move on. I would think that Evatt's win % was high over the last 4 seasons ?
Watford are refusing to comment on Spanish rumours that Tom Cleverly is going to be sacked, and replaced by a former Villareal Manager.
Watford are ONE POINT off the Play-Offs!!
Evatt was only 3 points, 1 win off the playoffs, not much difference
Cleverly has been there since the end of last season and jumped them up from 15th as well as being popular with the fans. Evatt had been there years and it had gone stale

I actually agree, the Managerial sacking culture in England has gotten a bit ridiculous - I know Evatt has been there a lot longer, but given that so few teams can be promoted in a season, its a bit silly that so many dont last if they cant achieve it.
Are the Pozzos the craziest owners in the EFL? They finally look to be on solid ground with a young manager the fans like and they want to shoot themselves in the foot again.

Evatt had been losing the plot this season as well. Almost headbutting an opposition player, telling his own fans to eff off.
Watford are in their 3rd season down from the PL, so minimal parachute payments and competing against teams with a much bigger budget now.
Why would 7th place Solihull choose the manager of 21st place Wealdstone? That Matt Taylor has achieved nothing of note in his managerial career.
🤷🏻
His general approach, philosophy and professionalism impressed Darryl Eale (the chairman). I have linked the article from the club's website if you curious what he added.

Amusing that his first game in charge will be against Wealdstone, but still seems an odd one. Perhaps the Chairman confused him with the other Matt Taylor

Don't get me to explain Chairman's logic. I still can't get over Iain Dowie being hired and why people still give Wayne Rooney a job (after he effectively relegated Birmingham).

You know what even if this is true it would be interesting as well.

Bad news for us potentially. Decent manager at this level and has a good squad in his hands.
Al Ettifaq and Gerrard are finalising the paperwork over his departure, with assistant Michael Beale also expected to leave the club.
