He must interview so well to keep on getting chances. Because his record is dire now.

Will probably go back to United in some age group coaching role or something. Can't see him getting another chance in the EFL
Not sure even United would take him back

Just feels like the most jobs for the boys club
  • A 21% win rate at Shrewsbury and the 6th time he has left a club with less than a 30% record. How does he keep getting jobs
It seems like once you get on that managerial bandwagon, you’re set for life.

    Results don’t seem to matter.

He’ll probably get a gig in Saudi next.
  • He has had a good old ride on the managerial merry-go-round.

494 games from his 8 permanent jobs.

One successful spell, when he was at Oxford. One adequate one at Lincoln...

Has a good agent and interviews well is my guess.

Lets face it, Appleton did all the ground work for last years promotion, he signed most of the players like Lloyd and Coventry.

    Bring him back

Though I can’t see it myself, he was well thought of as ‘coach’ in the past it seems.

His managerial record is abysmal though.

He joins the likes of Cotterill and Evans who always seem able to get a gig.

At least Evans has a half decent track record.

Both of these have win ratios just over 40%. If o was either of the.m and was compared to michael Appleton, I would be hurt.

Appleton is on a par with Mike Bassett. Although I would take Mike Bassett over Appleton.

Morecombe have finally sacked their manager. Feels like he was on my timeline every weekend excusing their losses

Who can blame him for turning down PL jobs left, right and centre just to maintain that record?

Should never have been given the job in the first place.

Set to be Dan Gosling and Charlie Daniels in charge. What is this Bournemouth's Championship winning side?

Including caretaker managers, the next permanent appointment is likely to be Watford's 31st appointment in the last 17 years. That's a hell of a lot of compensation to be paid.
  • Jim Bentley has returned to Morecambe as Manager until the end of the season.

Sounds like West Brom are sacking their Sporting Director instead of Ramsey.

They’re in big trouble, the longer they keep Ramsey the better.

I watch a fair bit of MLS and Ramsey's style of play with Minnesota was like watching League 2. No idea why they appointed him and hopefully they keep him because they're freefalling into relegation.

Well they can't really sack Ramsay yet, he's only been in charge for 3 weeks.

Tough run ahead for them though, they've got Stoke, Birmingham and Coventry in their next 3 games before we go there.
