He did a great job in keeping Newport up. Probably didn't fancy another season of struggle, and preferred to leave while his reputation is still high!1

Strange timing that.They must have known it would be hard to get out of that group - and he only signed a large contract extension a few weeks ago.0

Giving him a 4 year extension pre tournament was mad from the SFA. There's some quality in the Scottish side but Clarke set up far too defensive and the less said about the Brazil game and playing out the better.
Be interesting to see who throws their hat in the ring.2 -
