Is it me or is it painfully obvious that Woodgate is going to get the job on a permanent? I'm not sure why they want him after his screw up at Boro. Sensible from him getting HR in though as a bit of experience.Six-a-bag-of-nuts said:

I can't think of any reason why they'd want Woodgate. They're not hard up - they should be able to attract pretty much any manager who is willing to take a job in the Championship.agim said:

At Rovers they've plummeted down the league but he's had probably what, 15-20 games in charge and one transfer window? Were the Rovers hierarchy expecting a play off push? Surely have some faith and give him a bit longer.1 -

The figure I heard is slightly higher but in the same ballpark. If Lampard is offered and wants the role I suspect a deal could be done whereby Bournemouth pay x and Chelsea the remainder thus saving Chelsea money. Whilst Lampard may have lost the support of Chelsea directors, he is rumoured to be on amicable terms with the owner which would helpHartleypete said:
