Where's a goal coming from? (For Charlton I mean).
Set piece if we are (very) lucky.
Likely to be just a point above the relegation zone tonight.1 -

Really glad I got up at 5 am to watch that. Perhaps we can switch it up in attack by bringing on one of the 3 centre backs on the bench to replace one of the 3 defensive midfielders on the pitch.
Not much we can do from here, formation isn't working but because neither Aribo or KAG is on the bench we don't have the players to change it to anything other than a diamond, unless we got for a 7-1-2.0 -
Yeah, that would have made it better. Jeez.Leuth said:That said, it's possible that his knee 'locked' as he tried to change direction (this has also happened to me) and yeah if that happens it really can make you look a lemon. He should have at least fallen over or something, made it look dramatic
By the time he could've dived right, the ball was already behind him. It was a lost cause. He did nothing wrong. In fact, by staying on his feet he would be in a better position to get involved if somehow the ball had come off the post or been half-cleared. Oh, and I was a keeper too. Which is irrelevant, by the way.
Sometimes, it's nobody's fault. Why do we feel the need to blame someone?1 -
I blame Trump3

Hanlan on.3

To be honest I think Slade set up for a typical away match... Frustrate in the First Half, go in at least 0-0 and then come out in the 2nd.
Now we have to but rather than exploit gaps left by Swindon as they get more and more frustrated, we'll have to completely break them down1 -
All of the this. He's not a smart man. He's just the youngest, newest member of the old boys club that includes Allardyce and Bruce and Redknapp et al who always praise each other and always complain about not getting the top jobs.ForeverAddickted said:SKY need to stop spunking over Tim Sherwood
He's not a good Manager, he just couldnt fail with a good Spurs team and showed when he ruined Aston Villa.
At one point we got a FK on the halfway line... no idea what it was for because they were showing Sherwood watching the bloody match that I want to see myself!!7 -

Oh, not blaming! It was very unfortunate. Just think he could have had a go at saving it, but he probably wouldn't have managed it.lordromford said:

Losing four attacking players (three of them starters) will affect any team. We're a club that bring through young players. Why don't we have at least one young midfielder on the bench? Konsa has stepped up, are the others really that far behind? Or does Slade want to keep all the CBs happy (except Roger).0

By the way, that goal was almost identical to Millwall's winning goal 3 years ago in another televised friendly (the game of Pigott I think) - a similar sense of despair too2

Fair enough. We'll have to agree to disagree.Leuth said:

know we are short of players but Foley, Crofts and Jackson in the same team ?
Is this the slowest 11 we have ever put out in our history ?
Rudd must be the fastest player today.
Fox in the Box !
My son and two friends have gone today only because they are going to Wales V Serbia so thought they would have a starter before the main course on the way to the land of our Fathers.
