Just about to get my head down in St Truiden. If taxi drivers are any measure our StTruiden taxi driver has told us he loves the protest taxi and has taken a lot of pictures. He is adamant Roland is all about money, although he agrees he doesn't understand Roland either. He said everybody (in St Truiden) hates Roland. Was well aware of the duck tape story, said with some distain Roland drives an 8 year old Citroen C5 dark grey estate, and best of all Roland buys his clothes in the equivalent of Oxfam shops. Davo and Henry Irving were witnesses to this conversation, it certainly felt authentic and credible to me. Roland is a Scroog skinflint is the most consistent mood music I have heard about him. More consistent than the mad professor theory.
I tweeted the story courtesy of @BDL's video of the cab to Mark Clemmit, George Riley and Kelly Cates. Got a retweet from dear Clem, with lots of applause emojis. Think we have won him over.

Well done guys. I have to say I'm somewhat surprised who has gone out there. Best wishes for tomorrow.
Out here is a mixture of CARD organisers and CARD volunteers. All passionate in their hatred of the regime and all prepared to do their bit to fight them. Great people and great support from everyone at home. The protest fund "till" has been ringing constantly. Thank you all.
May I add that those of us here in Belgium today would not be able to feel as confident as we do without the certain knowledge that the overwhelming majority of out fans support this effort. We know hundreds of you would do the same if you were in a position to do and we are merely the physical manifestation of all of you who care all of you who write in support, who join in protests, who contribute to the fighting fund, all of you who boycott, all of you who spread the word. We are not particularly special but doing what many others would do too. The creativity, collective effort, intelligence and wit of our fan base is everybody's, some of us are here unelected and singular but deep down I know I am here trying to do something on behalf of everybody. Thanks for the messages of support but the best expression will be a passionate protest from all of us at the Sheffield United game.
And great retweet of an article and pic by Philippe Auclair, journalist and writer with 118k followers. Wish I knew how to post Tweets on here!</blockquote

Put forward a big news! Charlton fans drove to the boss's home protest Soccer store off the App 2016-11-13 18:58:10 Reading (0) Comments ( )
Charlton's unfavorable club last season, relegated from the British crown, the team faced bankruptcy and some other issues, coupled with the boss Duchatelet not as, which makes Charlton fans are very sad.
Charlton fans have organized a number of protests, but the results are not ideal. Charlton fans this season in the game with Coventry threw plastic pigs to the stadium to protest the team, and even the fans to the coffin carried to the stadium, heralds the advent of bad luck.
Recently, fans have come up with a new model of protest, they will hire a taxi drove to the home of the Belgian boss Duchatelet protest. It is reported that the fans will write a taxi protest Duchatelet slogan "Taxi for Roland" and "We want our Charlton back". They will start this morning from the valley golf course, the whole activity takes about 3 days.
Duchatelet2014 years to buy the interview with the Ministry of media, unfortunately, the team downgraded last season, during which experienced seven coach's change.
"We want to protest in this particular way to Belgium, to the maximum extent possible to the incapacity of exposure to Duchatelet and to the persecution of our club," said a spokesman for the Carter protest group CARD.
In addition to the taxi, CARD every day for the Duchatelet tricks for the preparation of a different birthday gift. Including a map of East London, a mocking jester's card, a DVD recording the protests and props used in protest at the Valley Court in 2016.
"The driver could explain to other passengers what happened to Charlton during this time, and we decided to let Duchatelet feel ashamed in his country until he sold the club."

And well done to CARD. It's such a fantastic idea. The taxi looks great. It has a strong visual impact. I saw the pictures yesterday on Twitter and couldn't wait to post them on Chinese social media websites. Congrats to everyone involved!

I got a little misty-eyed reading this post. Well said Seth. We have so many wonderful supporters. I was only a baby when the fight to get back to the Valley took place so I can only read about it in books and articles. Now I'm witnessing another great movement unfold. It's sad the club is being destroyed by the Belgians but CARD's and every supporter's efforts are a testament to what a special special club Charlton Athletic is. I feel so proud.
Yes, have done so -only 328 votes so far but not surprisingly 96% say 'Oui" to the question 'Should Duchatelet leave Charlton?' Let's see some more votes cast as another Birthday message.

It is my fault as obviously I intoduced him, I didn't learn as I also intoduced his little brother..
Ultimately all of this is my Dad's and Grandad's fault, not mine ;-)
U are not out of the woods!
Might post a pic of your room on here....frankly alot more disorganised than the regime #doublestandards
