Going alcohol free at uni for a few days so donated the price of 6 pints at my student bar.. ..

I read that as you've physically posted in a cheque for £2.94. Bloody students.

Yes I get it, I'll have to donate again now as penance for my joke
If you can get 6 pints for £2.94 anywhere on earth I need to know where...
Goa, I paid 40 pence for a pint of cobra.
So £2.40 gets you 6 pints
    I'm off then. Bye all.
You stick to your studies, Cantersaddick! Do not let them lead you astray.... too late?

I've used my studies to work out that my utility would be maximised through the consumption of 40p pints so I'm off! ;)
    Good man

Bloody Roland...if only he'd come from Goa, the B20 could have been the G20K!!! Hic!! :dizzy:
  • Are we nearly there yet? (50k?)
  • The money has been rolling in nicely but I should think its a bit optimistic to expect hitting the £50k just yet

We'll be doing an update on Friday or Saturday.
  • I'll be setting up a standing order on payday.

It's the 28th, someone remind me.

I got up from my bed at 0100am, 0300am, 0500am and 0700am - still no update - so, so tardy :-)

    *** UPDATE *** UPDATE *** UPDATE ***

OK, Ok, Just to keep @PeterGage quiet, here we go:

Last Sunday, total receipts were a few quid over £44,000

This morning, that figure has climbed to £47,682

That is more than £3,500 added in just 5 days! or, put another way, an average daily growth of £700 a day.

We need another £2,318 to get to Target £50k. Hoping for another little boost next week - when it's pay day for many

Huge thanks to everyone who has donated or worked towards this. We'll do another update in the first week of December.

Seriously, thanks Alan/Brenda for managing this account. I salute you both.
