*** CHRISTMAS UPDATE *** CHRISTMAS UPDATE *** CHRISTMAS UPDATE ***
Fancy a bit of good news for Christmas?
@Curb_It and I are absolutely delighted to announce that the Protest Fund has smashed through the £50k target we set on 20 November!!
That's well over £5,000 added in just over a month, and at the most expensive time of the year for just about everyone. So many people have donated, or contributed by making and buying protest merchandise, and we give our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has made this possible.
We don't usually say who has donated, but it is a delicious irony that the donation that took it over the £50,000 target was from @catfordmorry, a lovely man with business interests in Belgium, who donated on behalf of his business associates over there - that's extra sweet. Suck it up Duchatelet!
So, the total raised currently stands at £50,139 - and the Protest Fund will carry on running all the while that Charlton fans are fighting to rid our club of this toxic regime.
Merry Christmas everyone, and the happiest of new years.

Hi all!
Just wondering where I can find the most recent data/report regarding how the money is/was used. Some guy on FB is really getting on my tits about it.1 -

Glad it isn't just me who finds the snipes about lining their own pockets and sipping drinks on a beach really f*cking irritating.PaddyP17 said:Hi all!

Thanks again to our regular donators Six a Bag of Nuts, Dippenhall, Diamond Addick, Seth Plum, HandG. And thanks to those of you that have donated over the last few days and for the sponsorship money.
But do you hear that rattling noise... that's me with my tin.

Shame it doesn't happen with my own account.6 -
This end of Month donation was diverted to my Belgium trip. Normal service will resume at the end of March.0

The snipers who pathetically claim that the fund is being used inappropriately are just tight-arses who need an excuse to justify their lack of generosity and support for fellow Addicks fighting a struggle on their behalf. Simple really.3

Target £50k? £50k? ONLY £50k??
PAH!!!!
As of now, the total amount paid into the Protest Fund is standing at £55,102.
It is simply amazing.
I will do a full report on income and expenditure at the end of the season, but you might be interested to know that the Unity Protest has overtaken Coventry (remember the pigs?) as the single biggest spend event since the fund was started in January 2016. Total spend on the Unity Protest is over £7,000, with the largest element of that by far being the heavily subsidised coach travel.
Worth every penny. But it's your pennies - and you made it happen.
Humble and grateful thanks as ever to all of you that have donated or otherwise contributed.14 -
The money is safe with Curb_it, she has only lost three pounds since the beginning of January10
