    Yeah, only listened once. Hard to convince myself that it'll grow on me. What have they done? Everyone cites their debut but I prefer Weekend In The City. All their albums have something to say for themselves but this one seems a real damp squid.

    Saw The Wedding Present here in France at the beginning of the year.

    I'm over for the Norwich match this month and had to choose between Transvision Vamp and Swervedriver. Seen the latter before so went for the former.

    Unfortunately line up changes as half the band could not work with Kele. 

    The original members together made a brilliant debut and then egos got in the way. 

    When they play the first album, still decent live.

    Support were worth a mention, The Public Eye, really enjoyed them and will try to see them again. 

    A few personal favourites coming up again, Reytons, The Rifles, Freddie Halkon, Andrew Cushin, and the annual Shed Seven singalong. 
    I'll be at the Electric Ballroom for The Rifles 29th anniversary gig. Unbelievable live band.

    Saw Soapbox (Scottish Punks) at the The Old Blue Last in Shoreditch last night.

    A uniquely Scottish evening with the singer swigging from a bottle of Buckfast most of the evening!

    Another tiny venue with no A/C and a room temp approaching that of the surface of the sun!
