  • It's a joke really but hendo is next ranked Scot after Gando and Wright. Gando is out injured of course, and Wright is as Scottish as he is French, so they had to find a sweaty to stick out there, especially as their adopted son Barney is finished.
  • Don't know if there are many darts watchers on here but that game between Van Gerwen and Henderson was brilliant and I think that is the best darts atmosphere I have seen
  • was epic, was punching the air when he won his legs

  • Glen Durrant making his mark in the PDC

    He had knocked out:
    Lewis
    MVG
    Wade

On his way to the World Match Play Semi Final
  • Glen Durrant making his mark in the PDC

    He had knocked out:
    Lewis
    MVG
    Wade

On his way to the World Match Play Semi Final

I think he has a good chance of winning it, though Peter Wright is on a great run at the moment
  • Not much said on here, I thought Wright even before MVG but haven't bet on outright. Still think Wright or Cross, Durrant wasn't that great yesterday, but Wade was awful. Durrant had the game of his life vs MVG so it will be hard to replicate that. Not saying its not possible just I fancy the other 2 ahead of him.

    Cross v Bumting

    Wright v Gurney

    Winner plays each other

Other semi is Durrant v Smith (quietly going about his business and getting to the latter stages more often and probably due a big result)

Pretty wide open without the main man, also quite a few shocks. I did think from seeing the initial line up there would be in the first round as its so strong some of the unseeded players are good enough to be seeds so its been interesting. I have been watching most of it, nice to have it so open.

  • got my tickets to the daytime session on 20th december happy days

have backed durrant for the pdc at ally pally ew

  • Poor end to RVBs career tonight

1st round defeat to Darin Young who hasnt won at the World Championships since 2009
  • Barney out & retires and Rob Cross out 3-0 to Huybrechts.
  • RVB came across as an utter tosser in his post match interview. Albeit the emotions would have been rather raw so soon after the end but no need for the terse answers. He’s been a pro long enough to know how to deal with these things with dignity.
  • Yes, a shame because I'll always remember that.
  • A terrible interview to end a great career.  I hope he goes away, reflects & redoes that interview as that's not the way to bow out
  • I think Gerwyn Price has a good chance of winning it
  • I think Gerwyn Price has a good chance of winning it
Read an interview the other day where Price himself was playing his chances down, saying the longer set format doesn't suit him and he prefers tournaments where it's a straight shoot out in legs.

He's never got beyond the last 16 in the world championships so there maybe something in his claim, although he's obviously in great form.

He's been a helmet for years
  • Just watched last night's darts.
Smith out as well. Bloody hell.
